"If Greeks can request compensation from Germany for crimes in WWII, Serbia should be able to not only ask the same exact thing from Germany, but from NATO for its aggression in 99. Until we get an official apology and some form of reparations, relations between Serbia and NATO/EU will never be ideal.

Why not. You can ask for whatever you want. I asked the bank for a transfer of EUR 1.5M into my account. Sadly, they said no.

I would be all for making Javier Solana and crew work in Serbian mines for 20 hours a day, chained together, 7 days a week, forever, to repay Serbia for their crimes.

Compensation? Well, if we start with Kosovo and assume that one ha land was worth 10.000€ at that time, and Kosovo has an area of 10.887 km² that would add up to 100.887.000.000€ only for the land which was stolen, not to mention the property and lawfully belongings of the Yugoslav state on this land, plus all it's vast natural resources.
Then we continue with the infrastructure which was destroyed, the private property of civilians which was destroyed, the industrial facilities which have been destroyed and all the effects of this destruction that led to economic collapse and recession which lasts until today, plus all health care costs for wounded and DU-ammo-radiated civilians and veterans, the effects of enviromental poisoning caused by the bombing of raffineries, chemical plants, etc plus all the consequences of these which lead to a roughly estimated total loss of 50% economic growth since 1999, we would be at least at ten times of the former number, which is 1.000.887.000.000€.
