"Community of municipalities Serb List's condition"

I thought the Brussels Agreements were supposed to be Pristina's victory but they aren't even implementing it. They know that if Serbs south of the Ibar have the proper conditions to stay and (re)build their own communities, they could repopulate Kosovo-Metohija seeing as the Albanians are desperately trying to get out.

Serbia and repopulation must be a joke of the day as we all know how populated Serbia is in south Serbia!!!! Wet Serbian dream, This summer when and if you are in Serbia go and see for your self then talk repopulation.

There are 235,000 Serbs who were ethnically cleansed during the war. If they had conditions to come back at the same time that hundreds of thousands of Albanians are leaving, that would already significantly alter the demographic makeup of Kosovo-Metohija.

Most of this stuff is choreographed by both Serbs and Albanians. No one in Belgrade wants to be in power when Belgrade "recognizes" Kosovo is no longer a functioning part of Serbia even though plans were made years ago to give Serbs in Kosovo functional autonomy. And no one in Pristina wants to be in power when ZSO formally gets those powers in exchange for Kosovo's EU candidacy to be considered as a territory instead of a sovereign state. Funny how now Vucic makes the condition of "executive authority" (as if that wasn't part of the deal) as a way of getting Serbs to participate in Kosovo's political apparatus.

I almost have to admire the coordinated and choreographed maneuvering both sides take to placate their own constituencies.

lol you want to repopulate Kosovo? Rather watch out that you won't lose Vojvodina too, and that's going to happen much faster than you think. And guess where all the Albanian refugess are going to? That's right. Vojvodina. And they even get money paid to do so. And the same is with the gypsis. When Serbs will be under 50% it's goodbye.

Joking right so you say there were 500,000 Serbs before the war excluding Army, police, Paramilitary? I am not trying to make it in to argument people get in here daily however this is not a possibility. Serbs in Serbia are not growing let alone in Kosovo, people are not leaving for any other reason than economical reasons and Serbs will be faced with same conditions if not worse. And they found comfort and freedom and success that Serbia could never give them, but yet they come on here and spew vile about those who took them in and gave them a life they would have never had and speak of the rewards of Russia of which they received nothing.

Yes and those municipalities have powers according to Ahtisaari Plan, and through decentralization Pristina signed away more powers. They have ZERO authority in the north and gave up their authority in Serb areas in the center and south. Why else would Albin Kurti be protesting so much. Serbia signed Brussels. Community Serb Municiplaities can't have any legislative, judicial, or executive powers. It's just a club for leaders of Serb Municiplaities. It has no powers. All powers are reserved for federal government or municipalities. There is no csm powers. It's government sanctioned but has no governing powers at all.

Not only that but some future Belgrade mayor turned prime minister will sign along with some future Prishtina mayor turned prime minister, a document of friendship promising not to go to war, attack, or even hamper each other's progress. Then Serbia will be an EU member and Kosova will be there about 2 decades later. UN membership maybe in 50-70 years if ever. In the meantime enjoy the circus.

Serbian municpalities have no powers Albanian Municipalities don't have. The csm has no powers on its own. It's a club. I never said Serbian municipalities don't have powers they just aren't given any special powers and certainly can't form a form a government in the csm. Serbia agreed the csm would have no executive judicial or legislative powers. Those powers are only for federal government and municipalities.
