Serbs are allergic to the truth...
They still don't understand what Milosecic have done to Serbia..!!! O yes.., for a serb all are guilty except "them".Keep thinking Albania is guilty fot all...
Albania government don't give Albania passp.to Kosovo residents and they are the most isolated people in EU. But..,honestly this migration is strange to me too.....

This is true... a little known secret is that the highest wages in europe are not in switzerland or luxembourg but in kosovo...PFFFFFFF....I will NEVER understand the amazing ability of so many people to believe in illogical internet conspiracies.
Lets blame this humanitarian crisis on the Jews or the Zionists or the Freemasons or the Illuminati or.....
I'm not going to ask the obvious questions, such as "who would possibly do that, with which money, for what possible reason" because to put that comment up you must be crazy or stupid or some combination of those two....

Maybe the next time the west attempts to build a country they'll think twice about implementing terrorists and criminals to lead the country.
(njegos, 11 February 2015 14:03)
Or maybe the west (or US) has learned a lesson that the only way to end a war is unconditional surrender. Look at WWII, unconditional surrender of Germany totally destroyed by war, 70 years later Germany the strongest economically and politically in Europe, and a strong ally of the US. Japan unconditional surrender, today the number 3 economy in the world, a very very strong ally of the US. Serbia a politically correct peace accord leaving it intact and the leader in charge, 9 years of belligerence that hampered the rebuilding of Kosovo. Knowledge that there was no reason for negotiation as they had already lost Kosovo and they had nothing more to lose by not negotiating.
Just think of what the difference could have been if the US did not stop at 78 days and fully destroyed the infrastructure of Serbia and brought their government to a point of being under UN control and signing away any claims to Kosovo and establishing Kosovo as an independent entity with Serbia not having any rights to it at all.
Instead Kosovo in limbo economically, and Serbia possibly entering the EU as the most corrupt financially stagnant addition to the EU, with years and years before it could ever become a positive addition to the EU. Another 50-60 days could have been very beneficial for Serbia's future.

According to the 2011 census there are 1,616,869 albanians in kosovo
At this rate, and they say it's actually speeding up, but at this rate it will take exactly 3.17 years for kosovo to have 0 albanians.
The EU will proabably send them back but they'll try to leave again, to turkey or elsewhere
We could blame this on the serbs, but albania also has a very high emigration rate.
Either way I still think we blame the serbs, I mean why not, it's so easy

A Kosovo Serb women who rode the bus with these Albanians believes it is some kind of mass stunt, based on her observations. She says that none appeared impoverished and that they were all relaxed on the ride, as if going on a holiday. She said that chatted and necked - it was mostly young men and young couples with children. She observed large amounts of money being passed around before they got off. She also returned with an Albanian girl who was happy to arrive back. It appears that are paid big money to even attempt to reach another country and that things in Kosovo aren't as bad as they are (probably told or coached) claimed to be.

(Ilir, 11 February 2015 17:42)

Really? Anything of moderate value in Kosovo that was already sold by Pristina is owned by a Western company. Money's coming in, but it's going to Thaci's turbo mansion, among other things.

Whichever way you look at it, it's good news for Serbia.
So much for you breeding us out. All we have to do is wait until you're are all gone or most of you or enough of you.
Even if many don't stay and return it will be such a headache for EU that they will be begging Serbia to sort something out. This will put Serbia in a very good negotiating position. Add that to the US needing their resources and attention elsewhere you guys lose.
An average American is sick of Muslims and finally waking up. Do you really belive that once that Muslim president of theirs is gone an average American will support any Muslim anywhere?
Kosovo will remain part of Serbia with or without your approval.

Here is another possibility for explaining what is going on.

It is widely accepted that the Albanians in Kosovo are not that much better off than Albanians are in Albania. What is Albanian migration like between Kosovo and Albania? Could it be that Albanians have started to immigrate from Albania through Kosovo? Maybe the sudden flood is based on a new rumors about immigration opportunities that K-Albanians have spread to Albania.

And this reveals another desperate problem about the fake nationalism of Albanian Kosovo. If Kosovo is an independent Albanian nation, then there must be an immigration policy between Albania and Kosovo. If there is not, then Kosovo is just Greater Albania and where does that stop? And what are the immigration consequences for the EU? If nobody can tell the difference between Albanians from Kosovo and Albanians from Albania, then this is trouble. Everyone talks about the rot in Kosovo, but there are lots of international eyes on Kosovo and none on Albania which is just as bad as Kosovo for the same reason.

Kosovo has now become a complete destitute backwater of Europe thanks to the creation of the 'powers' of Europe and America /NATO. They need to deal with these issues, it's very simple mathematics here people.

I understand Serbia's comments, however this is NOT their problem as EU really wanted Kosovo to be free and independent so they should step up.

Let me just point out that if the max exodus of ethnic Albanians from Kosovo can be partly or primarily attributed to a lack of job opportunities, nevertheless and at this rate, what if the end result is Kosovo suffering from a "brain drain."

This may be a rather unusual question to ask but would it have made much of a difference or should I ask would it have been economically feasable or viable if Pristina had its own mercantile exchange? (not necessarily a stock exchange.)

Ilir, it doesn't matter where they are going. The point is they are fleeing Albanian-run Kosovo. You guys begged the international community to come in and defend you. They did. Serbia was bombed for 78 days. Kosovo is now run by Albanians - criminals that you elected and the US supported. Now the house of cards is collapsing.

been for heavy western support in the way of 78 days of bombing, partnering with the KLA, supplying and supporting Albanians, etc.? Pull your head out of the sand Ilir.

You guys got what you wanted - an Albanian-run Kosovo. And now, after 15 years, your elected criminals have driven the place into the ground. Funny thing is, none of the countries that your people are fleeing to want you. Good riddance, now you're the problem of the rest of Europe. Think about that Ilir, hmm.

Migrating to fleeing a different thing altogether i think... What you need to understand is that Kosovo has a large diaspora and more Albanians live outside Kosovo than in Kosovo. The numbers yes, are quite disturbing, but a far cry from the old times and light years away from the 90.. I don't know why you have this bizarre desire to somehow make links between the independence and migration. Around 1 million Poles migrated to UK and more than that in Germany ( their historical enemy) from 2000 but they do not feel less Poles or less independent than Germany.

To Njegos, Ari Gold and others:

You guys are beyond pathetic. One can sense your hate from miles away towards Kosovars.

To all good hearted men and women, Kosovars must demand accountability from their politicians and must punish them at the polls. Sadly over 60% of the electorate choose not to take part in the election process the last time and as a result you have the criminal elite ruling the country. Hashim Thaqi, Isa Mustafa, Ramush Haradinaj, Kadri Veseli and many more are seasoned criminals. In any other normal society they would be in jail not in charge of running a country. I know that Kosovars are fed up with these politicians and feel powerless but "giving up and leaving the country" this isn't the way to deal with problems. Leaving the country and risking your families lives isnt the solution. Stay put and demand a better future. Demand better health care, better educational system, better jobs, better security, better court system and vote because by choosing not to vote you are enabling these criminal politicians to ruin your future and the future of your children. And by the way where did billions of dollars in aid destined for Kosovo evaporate. Albanian diaspora has to take a more active and responsible role in bringing in their own experts and help to revitalize the country otherwise if we leave it in the hands of corrupt EU politicians and the seasoned local criminals "Thaqi, Mustafa, Ramush Co" Soon there will be no people left in Kosovo.

Isolation and Poverty! What will be the criminal charge for poverty in the Balkans? What will be the sentence for impoverished human beings in the Balkans? So the people of the Balkans like a test tube experiment for the Roman Catholic Empire? All the Gold and Silver in the Vatican, may Satan for ever choke on it! Satan sits on the mortal throne in the Vatican with his fat belly full of gold and silver and God our Lord Crucified and Holy in Heaven looks down upon us all with the most precious gift of Love. I hope Serbia is very carefull how it responds to the situation regarding the poor who are within Serbian territories no matter what religion they may be, God is watching!!! It does not matter what other rich and evil nations or countries say or do to influence Serbia on handling the poor people from the Balkans, but remember God is watching!!!

Furthermore, the reason why they go to Germany is to abuse the asylum system and get financial support - they know well that they have 0.01% chance of asylum is granted, but they know, too, that the procedure can take months, and during that, they receive money payed by German taxpayers. While the billions of € spend on Kosovo went straight to the pockets of the criminal government
(Comm. Parrisson, 11 February 2015 15:19)

I have not argued that they aren't illegal immigrants, after all they are entering Germany illegally. Yes, they are. The so called "asylum claim" if you are very lucky can last 6-8 weeks, no more, and recently there is talks of not accepting asylum claims from Kosovo. Kosovans make one of the largest immigrant groups in Germany and the largest in Switzerland since the 1950-60. The figures that are given these days are nothing compare to the old Yugoslavians days. They do not have a single interest in state benefits as they main aim is to work. You guys seem to forget that Kosovo's main income come from migration not from internal economic activities. Therefore, your point about German tax payers handing money is invalid not only in Germany but also in Kosovo as 90% of the money in Kosovo goes to EULEX and other foreign owned organisations.

I'm not saying the West hasn't invested in Kosovo, but no way near as their investment in Serbia or Hungary for that matter.

Is interesting how not a single person stops in Serbia or Hungary ( despite media talking of 60,000 Kosovo Albanians applying for Serbs passport) and many thousands crossing the border. They rather walk on foot and through the snow then stop in Serbia or Hungary.
(Ilir, 11 February 2015 14:36)

We hope so. Keep moving. Hopefully in 20 years they'll start declaring parts of Germany as once belonging to ancient Illyria and Dardania and thus must be part of Autochthonous Albania.

Kosovo: what a mess. After 15 years and billions of US taxpayer dollars, Kosovo Albanians can't leave fast enough.

Where is Bill Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Wesley Clark, et al? They are the architects of this mess. They should be made to live in Pristina until they correct what they have created.

Maybe the next time the west attempts to build a country they'll think twice about implementing terrorists and criminals to lead the country. Hate to say we told you so, but....we told you so.

It was rediculous to have made a small landlocked piece of land in the middle of an already divided region, with no financially strong neighbours into a self-standing state.

In my view the area should have been made a protectorate with the international community and neighbouring states running the governance in collaboration with the locals.

To have a second Albanian state created was rediculous. Albania itself is a struggling country. Kosovo is never going to be as strong as Albania - and that means it will likey remain in poverty forever.

it makes little sense for anyone of ambition to live in Kosovo; add to that those who are now concerned with even maintaining the basics of life. Itseems that people are seeing where the grass is greener and are therefore moving to the main European countries.

In the past Yugoslavia (including Belgraders) helped finance Kosovo. That is not going to happen now!

Belgrade provides a strong economic centre for Serbia. Where is the equivalent for 'independent' Kosovo? It doesn't exist.

But again I do not want to turn this us against them tit for tat that people get stuck on. I notice the frequent enthusiastic Albanian posters on here are suddenly quiet and choosing to avoid commenting on articles that are talking about the mass exodus of Albanians from Kosovo-Metohija. I've been saying that more Albanians are leaving now than any time before the occupation in '99, but these figures shocked even me. I thought 100, 000 since August, turns out since December! The German "ambassador" in Pristina said he fears the real exodus is coming after winter.

These people fleeing are literally leaving by foot, or if they're lucky, cramming themselves along with 200 others in a 45 person bus. Anything to get out. They have no ties to the drug/human/organ trafficking rackets, so they have no future there.

Serbia offered a formula for more handouts to be given to the Albanian community during the UN negotiations before '08. But they listened to Thaci instead. Maybe the Albanians should ask for autonomy again. Though Serbia shouldn't offer the perks that have been offered in the past and instead stay firm.

Time to take that oath Albanian "Brandon" is always talking about on here. Kosovo-Metohija je Srbija.

So much for you breeding us out. All we have to do is wait until you're are all gone or most of you or enough of you.
