Hundreds of Albanians detained at Serbia-Hungary border

Why? Let them be Central Europe's problem. Maybe in 20 years we'll hear stories of how Vienna and Munich are actually ancient Illyrian cities and should be part of autochthonous Albania.

Everyday albanians request serbian passports but i thought they hate everything serbian. Why are you leaving your paradise kosovo? I would ship them all, directly to albania. How come your western friends are denying you entry? I thought they are your saviours and they just love you so much.

The minister is smart to spin this into some Pro Serbia story but he (too) knows the truth is these Albanians are looking for a way out, to leave Kosovo for something better. A Serbian passport, which allows visa free travel to Europe, is their ticket out of missery.

I hope it wasn't Serbia who stopped them, it would be inhumane for Serbia to return these people back to that hell hole. The Albanians that want to go are leaving because they have no ties to drug/organ/human trafficking and therefore are impoverished and miserable in Kosovo-Metohija. The billions that place has received has never made it to them and thus I genuinely feel bad for them.

300 albanians from Kosovo left the entity and are now detained in Serbia.
They found what they wanted and that they cannot have: some bread (and they found a way to steal it from someone else, as in their consolidated tradition).

i don't like my government either, but i know i have to live with it because they won, and that is a reflection of the population making that collective decision.
in kosovo the population voted for their leaders, why should those that didn't get what they wanted be offered anything different or better. they all share in the ups and downs of their own country. clearly there are significant numbers that are happy with their government, many voted for them.

The Serbian govt has taken on full time jobs begging from every person that has a dollar, just to come close to filling their own coffers, and it is approaching time to start paying some of that back. You think they could give "welfare" to anyone. Besides: have autonomy, have it revoked, be starved for 10 years trying to make you flee, when that doesn't work, murder your family, rape your daughters, burn your homes and rob you of what little you have left, and then it would be smart to accept autonomy again knowing it would only be repeated?

Finally you are starting to make some sense and provide some specific benefit for Kosovo if it goes back under Serbia. There are two challenges though:

1. Serbia is a failed state that can't even properly feed its own children, let alone pay welfare to more than 1,5 million people in Kosovo.

2. Serbia's Constitution would need to change to (i) guarantee the payment of the welfare you mentioned indefinitely or for as long as Kosovo remains a part of Serbia and (ii) add a provision to Serbia's Constitution that no changes to Serbia's Constitution can be made without the approval of Kosovo.

If Serbia is willing to let its own children starve to pay welfare in Kosovo and change the Constitution per above, then I do absolutely agree that it makes sense for Kosovo to accept broad autonomy within Serbia.
