GDP drops 1.6 percent, unemployment rate down

Real year-on-year drop in Serbia's GDP in the fourth quarter of 2014 was 1.6 percent, the national statistical office has stated.

I don't want to sound like a stats nazi but...
When a figure presented in percentage form changes, you don't say that it is down a certain percent but a certain amount of percentage points.
Example... If unemplyment was 20% and now its 19.5%, you say it fell 0.5 percentage points not 0.5 percent.
I know it sounds like a small difference but those two things have completely different meanings.

I'm glad to see someone understands the difference. It is embarrassing that the Serb gov't does not know the difference. It's no wonder Serbia is in such a sorry state. I'm surprised that sj or Ari Gold have not noticed this obvious blunder. Perhaps, they are too busy trying to spread obvious disinformation, thereby, making Serbia look even more foolish. Those two individuals think the rest of the world can be fooled. However, it is buffoons like sj and Ari that present serbia as such a primitive county which is then looked upon as a laughing stock for the world to ridicule.
