A couple of years ago I was driving past a football stadium near Belgrade. Red Star were playing the local side and their supporters were in the town marching towards the stadium. I wanted to drive past the stadium and through the town. In my way were a couple of hundred Gendarmes. One of them politely but firmly asked me to turn my car around and find another route through the town. He said the Red Star supporters would damage my car and I might get hurt. This Gendarme was at least 3 metres tall, built like a house, and had a face that was carved out of granite. Any normal human being would do as I did and turn the car around. If you are the Prime Minister's brother, however, some feeling of invinceability may over come you and you will push through the Gendarmes lines with inevitable consequences.
