"Let the court decide whether he is guilty or not. At this point it is very wrong to assume that he is. I personally do not believe he is guilty, but that is only my opinion.

Also plea bargaining is something that is not usual in Europe. Why should a North American practise be expected to take place in a European Court?

@Jim Fitt:
Don't you think I'm aware that is the purpose of a court trial so that it can determine Oliver Ivanovic's guilt or innocence. Even when you typed something about it being wrong to assume he's guilty wouldn't you agree that it's wrong to assume that he's an innocent man? But you're right about one thing and that is for you to assume he ain't guilty is YOUR opinion which ought to mean that you're conceding that his innocence is not necessarily a fact.Finally when you discussed plea bargaining not being the norm I suppose in Europe you at least indicated why should Europe have North American practice when it comes to European justice the answer is I don't know or I haven't thought of it that way.

In the event Ivanovic is convicted of ordering his paramilitary forces to slay some of these ethnic Albanian victims a life sentence instead of a 5 year prison sentence should be imposed on him particularly if he doesn't plea bargain or at least displays no remorse for his actions.
