No, what you hate is that you cannot point to anything in Kosovo-Metohija and call it distinctively Albanian. Nothing. Not a statue, not a religious institution, not an artifact.. Nothing.

Nothing? How about the HOUSES that albanians have built before and after each colonization of the kosovo/dardania land. How about the WORK that albanians have put on this land to sustain the population that lives there. How about the LOVE albanians have for this land since they have a connection with it for a very long time (i don't think colonizators have any love for the land they conquer).

The land itself is soaked with albanian blood, therefore our DNA is embedded in it.

Serb and monasteries will always be thought of as Serbian culture and not Albanian, but the ones in Kosovo will remain in Kosovo and since they were built in what was known at the time as Kosovo, they are a part of Kosovo's cultural heritage also. I never said they should be part of Albanian heritage. There is a difference.
But I do like the name of your hypothetical country, if I were to pick a name for YOUR country I could find no better one.

Maybe if you did not use the church as a weapon of hate it would not be treated with hate.

"You claim that Kosovo is the "cradle of your religion" these monasteries are located in Kosovo, but Kosovo CANNOT claim them as part of Kosovo culture. "

If there's a Albanian mosque build somewhere, and some 100 years later I declare the territory it's build on as my own country(let's call it Absurdistan), then people with a sane mind would still consider the mosque as symbol of Albanian culture and religion, and not as an 'Absurdistan cultural heritage'.

Absurd, isn't it?

What strikes me as absurd is the Serbian view on these churches. You claim that Kosovo is the "cradle of your religion" these monasteries are located in Kosovo, but Kosovo CANNOT claim them as part of Kosovo culture. They are to be regarded as part of the Serbian state, (not culture, theres a difference) a state that tried to annihilate most of the residents, a state that treats the people of Kosovo with hatred on a daily basis, a state that wants the majority of residents of Kosovo to be on an inferior level and to admit that Serbs are a superior race. People like you who come on this site daily and trash the Albanian people daily somehow thinking that if you beat them down it raises your level in humanity.
You want the Albanian people to respect the Serbian Orthodox churches but yet you want to always remind them that it is exclusively a part of group that hates them.
Just maybe if the churches embrace the people of Kosovo they will embrace them back and realize this is a part of history they want to preserve. Maybe if visits to the churches are organized as religious visits and not to advance a political agenda of hate then it will also be perceived by the locals as a religious visit. If Serbian officials were to come to worship God not to provoke, it would be considered as such.
Maybe if you did not use the church as a weapon of hate it would not be treated with hate.

"He also expressed the hope that Kosovo’s institutions and local municipalities would understand that Visoki Dečani Monastery was not a threat to the Albanian people who live in the area, but rather a holy site of great significance for all."

I wouldn't expect that. The Albanian mob will continue to demolish, vandalize or desecrate holy sites and UNESCO world cultural heritage, while, on the other hand,'Kosovo politicians' will continue to try to declare those ancient monasteries and churches as 'Kosovo cultural heritage'. Absurd, isn't it?
