Actually, I have to thank you. After you recommended me as "Albanian Einstein" I have a great job now. As soon as I applied for a job at this Malaysian merchant bank and they saw that the CE of B92 forums sj considered me as "Albanian Einstein", I was hired immediately without an interview. Thank you mate!

B92, I did not see anywhere in the news story that the data to determine the above has been vetted and approved by the CE of B92 forums sj and his/her Malaysian friend. So, we are all wasting or time here :)

My advice to you, AE, is to stick to cleaning WCs because the world is far too complex for you.

It's a strange ranking with hidden motives
(rote, 30 October 2014 08:21)

Paranoia conspiracy theories is reaching new heights there, mate? Fortunately the rest of the world has better things to do than work on conspiracies day and night...

It's a strange ranking with hidden motives. Say Russia has jumped up 30 positions and took place 62 and I don't know why. Despite the sanctions and despite the increase of the taxes and fees for business. I take it as easy as place 92 last year. So must do the Serbs because it's just another tool of pressing. F*ck them all with their IS and the Ebola president.

I also find it rather strange that Albania is left out of this report, especially when countries such as Bulgaria and Romania (non ex-Yugo countries)are listed. It seems to me that serbs find it difficult to accept the idea that Albania does better than Serbia economically. For the record, Albania will have over 2% economic growth this year. By comparison, Serbia is on the edge of recession with less than 1% economic growth. Firing 100 000 people from the public sector, as your PM has promissed' will make matters worst.

Cheers

Please stop it my stomach is hurting from laughing. If Albania is so far more advanced why dont you guys share your secret with the Gernmans who look like plunging inot another recession.

This is way more damming and concerning than all the nationalistic noise about the stupid drone and football match our government made such a big deal.
How come our country is ranked behind Kosovo and Albania?
I also read here that pensioners in Albania have a better living and get more money than their counterparts in Serbia. How is this possible? Albania used to be the poorest country in Europe. Looks like we are not headed in the right direction here. But economics is complicated, I am sure it is way more fun to flame nationalist sentiments here.

@ Visar. B92 and the Serbian press in general do not report on Albania unless it is about a negative event. (Remember Pope's visit last month that went totally ignored)

If occupied Kosovo-Metohija is such an investment haven then maybe you should invite more Germans to do business there. Because I'll tell you, outside of the billions in Western tax dollars that have flooded that place since the end of the war, it's pretty impoverished. Not that those billions are accounted for, a couple of KLA terrorists got pretty nice houses though.

The World Bank is an outdated institution. It may outlive you because you're very old (and biter), but it's not a proper barometer of where to do business.

Then why doesn’t the international community fall over itself to invest in Kosovo or Albania. Next they are going to tell you that rocks can fly. Strange, but you leave Kosovo and Albania out of the regional contries you list in your report. As you probably also know, Kosovo is fully recognized by the World Bank and also a member of this organization.
Well, the World Bank list Abania as 68 and Kosovo as 75 in their listing of countries for best business condition, Serbia comes in on 91. In the overall listing for Europe and Central Asia, Albania ranks 16, Kosovo 17, and Serbia 20.
