Sadly, one has to question the independence of the judiciary in cases like this. This man in question has amassed a massive amount of wealth whilst his countrymen rummage around in refuse containers and the source of these assets needs to be fully and properly investigated. Anything less and Serbia's credibility as a venue for investment becomes very questionable and that would be a tragedy for the population at large who would benefit from that investment. It's also unclear as to why he needs a passport surely he should be more concerned with clearing his name??
