The administrative crossings into Kosovo will remain unchanged and there will be no barrier gates, state symbols or changes to the existing crossing regime.

Though I don't know one "border crossing" that doesn't have national symbols on it, do you? Nor do I know a country that has administrative checkpoints within their own territory.

Perfect reason to call Kosovo i Metohija what it is- more than autonomy, less than independence. This is exactly what Serbia offered back in 2005. So I'd say job well done. But hey, it's free to dream :)

Ari,
You desperately wish your fantasies were true. However, you should ask Sergey Lavrov, Russia's foreign minister why he was detained at Kosova's international border for two days. He had to sleep in the back of one of the Russian unauthorized and unheated trucks carrying "aid" to Kosova Serbs, until he was given permission enter Kosova.

As far as the asterisk is concerned, Edita Tahiri said it best by exclaiming "it will melt along with the last snowflake of winter". Apparently, most EU countries confer since the asterisk and footnote are nowhere to be found at international conferences attended by Kosova.

Serbia is now very strident that Kosovo is a sovereign independent nation it needs border guards and customs agents on its border and an ambassdor to in dejan pavicevic.

Doesn't it suck? When Sudan recognised South Sudan's right to separate, the rest of the world did to. According to your stupid theory, not even Serbia's apparent support for your "statehood" is enough to get you in the UN.

So Western lobbying, and now Serbian support cannot make the Albanians loved by the rest of the world? What will it take for you to become a member of civilization then if not this?

This is so pathetic. There is basically no opposition to Kosovo independence in Serbia among the voters. The voters have eliminated all nationalist and "Kosovo is Serbia "parties from parliament. No more radicals no more dss. Why this lying for no reason about the formal creation of permanent border checkpoints and border guard headquarters. Serbia is now very strident that Kosovo is a sovereign independent nation it needs border guards and customs agents on its border and an ambassdor to in dejan pavicevic.
