I recently saw a documentary about Russia that showed that sanctions have already started to affect the average person. It shows several instances of people picking through garbage to find something edible. For this to be happening so early in the sanctions regime is shocking and only means that the situation in Russia is desperate. All propaganda issued by the Russian media has been completely debunked in this documentary.

Food prices will not increase in Serbia. Serbs can export all they produce and if necessary buy very cheaply from EU countries which are desperate to off load their agricultural produce since they cannot sell in Russia.
The Hungarian PM is probably the only smart man in the EU as he pointed out that the sanctions against Russia have only caused more pain to them than Moscow.

MAGNIT is their trademark while the company name is TANDER and it’s a dream of every Russian company to be present on their shelves. So if Serbia uses the chance this one company may pull the country out of the crisis.

They show fantastic increase of sales 33-52% annual. Besides after the Russian anti-sanctions food backfire the papers of MAGNIT jumped for 40%. Same happened to all Russian food companies as they have immunity against any sanctions. Anyway MAGNIT is the leader and they are national minded. Also in Cossack regions Slav brotherhood and Orthodoxy are not empty words. So Serbia should not miss this chance and finally use the free trade regime you have. It will make you be present in 2000 Russian towns.
