Belgrade to back Serb participation in Kosovo government
Office for Kosovo head Marko Đurić met with UNMIK Chief Farid Zarif and told him that Serbia intends to support Serbs' participation in a new Kosovo government.
Ks the obvious Serbian thank you is voting on republic of Kosovo ballots, goran rakic swearing an oath to the republic of Kosovo, going to pristina Albanian run courts, going to pristina Albanian run police. Serbia itself having dejan pavicevic ambassador and Kosovo in all balkan country groups etc etc
The thing that really grinds my gears is the fact that they treated Albanians like crap from 1989-1999 and we give the people there rights and don't even get a thank you or something.

Thank you for what? That Serbs can participate in politics in Kosovo at all was brought to them by the international community who forced Albanians to concede to these significant degrees of autonomy. Don't be under any illusion this was solely a product of non-existent Albanian generosity or forward-thinking. The past seven years have seen Albanians kicking and screaming against any empowerment of the Serb minority followed closely by numerous efforts at undermining any ability for the Serbs to exercise their own rights. Tell me again how you deserve anyone's gratitude?
It's the Republic of Kosovo, not "Kosovo and Metohija". And they are not YOUR citizens. They are citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. Wake up, wacko. The thing that really grinds my gears is the fact that they treated Albanians like crap from 1989-1999 and we give the people there rights and don't even get a thank you or something. Let them join that money hungry EU, but at least give the people who cooperated and are not delusional a reward for being selfless. This is proof that the Kosovo government is committed to dialogue and solving this annoying issue, while the Serb government is ignorant and still anti-Albanian.
The community of Serbian municipalities is a waste of time. Only law is pristina law and only courts are pristina courts. It's just a big waste of time with no executive legislative or judicial powers. Serbs are already voting on republic of Kosovo blogs and rakic swore the loyalty oath to republic of Kosovo. Serbia has border guards and customs agents as well as ambassador dejan pavicevic with Kosovo. All Serbian autonomy in Kosovo has been abolished. Serbia can't get into the eu ever unless it removes Kosovo from its constitution. The Serbian people have spoken loud and clear in the election they support Kosovo independence by eliminating dss from parliament and again preventing radicals from having any seats. Over 60% of Serbia says Kosovo is a sovereign independent nation why won't the government reflect the serbian peoples ardent and strident support for Kosovo independence for eu membership?
