LOL Zoran, so here is the situation: Serbian tax payers money is used to pay Tony Blair to help get Serbia into the EU "crumbling evil empire" sooner. Not only will Vucic not suffer politically from this, he will become even more popular and call for anticipated elections again one year from now. And then again, and again. They will rule for ten more years at least. A bright future expects Serbia, with or without your approval :).

First off Milosevic was as far from a fasist as you can come, he was a communist. Secondly the question isn´t why Blair is meeting with Vucic but why Vucis is meeting Blair considering what this massmurderer has done to Serbia and its people, he shouldve been locked up and thrown into Zabela as soon as he stepped on Serbian soil. Disgusting.
(Daniel, 22 June 2014 03:02)

Milosevic was a Socialist and a Serb Nationalist. Socialism + Nationalism = National-Socialism which is a type of Fascism.

This just goes to show how low Tony Blair is. He'll meet anyone, any Dictator ect. Remember when he got all friendly with Gaddafi? Now he has met with the former Minister of Information (aka Minister of Censorship and Propaganda) of the fascist Milosevic Regime. Tony Blair would meet with the devil himself if he could profit from it.

Vucic will pay for this mistake with his popularity. This government is quickly becoming worse than the DS but geopolitical momentum is in our favour. It won't be too long before the Serbian people are saved from this occupation.
(Zoran, 20 June 2014 19:25)

Sure... just let us know what "long" means as we've been hearing that for years :) Hopefully we are still around where those heavenly things you mention become a reality...

As a British subject I am deeply disgusted that Blair should be met by the Premier of Serbia. Blair can only be described as a lying, war-mongering criminal who will prositute himself for money wherever he can.
Meeting with him, or even paying him for advisory services, is a big mistake for Serbia.
There again Vučić is also one of Milošević's men, so I am sure that he feels very comfortable in the presence of people such as Blair.
It was during Vučić's term as the Minister of Information that the journalist Slavko Curuvija was murdered in a state-sponsored assassination, for his apparent defiance in his reporting. In 1999, before the assassination took place, Vučić gave a front page interview to the tabloid "Argument" in which he stated "I will have my revenge with Slavko Curuvija for all the lies published in The Daily Telgraph [Curuvija's paper]". This is now the man who is Premier of Serbia.

Wow, how low can this government go? Bliar should be locked up and rotting away for what he has done. Millions are dead because of this evil war criminal. He is disliked in his home country and the London mayor recently called him mad.

It's of no significance of who is at the helm of the UK government. The establishment in UK will unfailingly obey every order their US masters give them, and the US still thinks the UK is nothing more than a quaint holiday destination, also suitable for citing weaponry. In the case of Blair he has no qualms about lying to his cabinet and own parliament over the Iraqi invasion( Vucic calls him a great parliamentarian),he has no conscience about what his policies do (hog-tie the BBC, killing scientists, making Iraq ungovernable), he has no sense of democracy in handing the leadership to the incompetent Brown. He's more of a psychopath - for he exhibits no morality, nor shame, for anything he has done - every end has justified the means - and casualties like Iraqi civilians and soldiers alike.

Something is brewing. Lukashenko, Lavrov, then Blair visit Vucic. And now Vucic to travel to Moscow for talks with Putin Medvedev.

Battle lines for WW3 are being drawn. The Axis-Powers want Serbia in their camp and have sent Oberführer Blair to bring the troublesome Serbs into line. Serbia’s Slavic Allies have other plans and will no doubt offer Serbia much to keep it independent.

this is a huge blunder by Vucic, Blair is not an official visitor, nor friend of the Serbian people, he should not get a meeting with the prime minister. As his Iraq adventurism is coming undone, and as members of his own party are critical of him, Blair is trying to regain prestige. Why help him, what good will he do with it besides making himself rich?

So in short Vucic humiliates his electorate and gets nothing in return. Vucic is popular now, but you can bet if his popularity slips, his opposition will be posting that picture everywhere.

For a moment I thought a was still asleep and having a bad dream, but alas I was not. This really is beyond my comprehension and it may become Vucic's undoing. In fact, there might be a very valid argument for this to be treason to the Serbian State.

Tony Blair is a war criminal. That is not just some hyperbole; the man really is responsible for actual crimes of war. As a NATO henchman, he may be able to escape prosecution and punishment for his crimes, but that doesn't make him any less guilty. That the EU and USA choose to ignore his crimes is no surprise, but Serbia ignoring them is a whole different story.

Did Serbia not have an obligation to arrest this man the moment he landed in Belgrade? To my knowledge there is no age limitation for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Can a Serbian Prime Minister choose to not uphold the law, if that happens to be politically opportune to do so? Is that in itself not a direct attack on the country's Rule of Law itself? Can somebody please check the definition of the term “high treason”?

How many ignorant people and those who gave Vucic the benefit of a doubt, in hope for a positive change, must now be cursing the day they voted for him and his party. No wonder so many people in Serbia lost any believe in justice whatsoever. When war criminals do not only go free, but even wine and dine with your politicians (and probably being payed good money to do so as well).

Kafka himself could not have made this one up.

Completely and utterly beyond belief. Blair is regarded with suspicion and a huge degree of dislike in the UK for his style of government and his own individual political style. Add to that the fact that he completely failed to act in a transparent manner with the UK public when it came to the aggression towards Serbia in the past and the fact that he completely ignored UN convention regarding the process of the aggression towards Serbia and you begin to see exactly what kind of man he really is. For these reasons and for many more besides, I am amazed that Vucic would even talk to the man let alone invite him to Belgrade and ask for his advice on how to organise the cabinet of his government. Totally unbelievable!
