Ex-mayor of Niš detained on corruption charges

The police in Niš on Tuesday arrested and placed in 48-hour detention Miloš Simonović, the town's former mayor and former official of the Democratic Party (DS).

The amount of money Nis spent on paying airlines to fly there (with the worst terms possible to the city - the the case of Montenegro Airlines, it was better for MNE Airlines if they had no passengers on the flight), they could have leased a plane or two and started their own mini airline.

I don't think these subsidies are necessarily bad, but the way they were done here was (intentionally?) bad.

There's really 2 options. They guy's a total idiot or he's had some kind of side deal.

It would be interesting, to know about the other politicians and how "clean" they are. Guess half of them should be substituted, eh?
