I have no frustration, why should I.
My only inconvenience regarding Hungarian politicians: those pathetic Jobbik activists who keep on travelling here to gain support for electoral purposes. And they promise funny things to Hungarian communities just to get their vote. They try to stir the things around and it's not the case. Romanian and Hungarian communities get on well here. Actually we dislike Hungarian & Romanian politicians equally.
As for the genocide against Hungarians... I suppose you studied only one version of history. Your version. The truth is in between, as always. Many people (Romanians and Hungarians) died here by the hands of extremists in the past.
And regarding the topic, this Hungarian stance towards Russia: is not a new thing. There are some similarities in the past. After WW1 Bela Kun developed close relations with the Russian Soviets. And the result was a disaster.
It would be a naivety to think that Hungarian politicians would not take profit from "unexpected" situations to increase their popularity. They did it in 1918-1919 and 1939-1940. On our behalf (and also on the behalf of Serbia and Slovakia). I have no reason to think they changed their intentions towards my country or other neighbouring countries (such as Ukraine)..
This is not a our frustration, it's a Hungarian frustration related to the lands which Hungary once lost.

Again, I feel the frustration from your deeply rooted sense of guilt. Hungarians would not want back the land you live in now, especially as the population is so much diluted with your kind, thanks to the systematic holocaust against Hungarians starting from the 18th century, culminating under your well deserved "great leader". By the way, facts are very nasty. Read back your comments, you are the only one on B92 babbling about Greater Hungary, I wonder why.

I feel no guilt considering Transylvania my homeland. And it will be always my homeland.
Yeah, try to identify Hungary's land on a 9th century map... And? Just because Hungary figured on a map in 9th century, just because some barbarian tribes invaded these lands then should I consider myself a guest here? You should better try to find a map with Hungary in 3rd century, why not... Oh, I guess it's difficult.
If you wanna look at a map then you should try 2014's map. Just in case you want to face the reality.
Wtf we should give Transylvania to the goths, gepids and slavs. They came here before you. Nah, to the Romans. Nah, to the Dacians. Btw, I consider myself a Dacian. Yeah, why not. I can understand the meaning of "brusture" without consulting a RO-HUN dictionary.
Or maybe to the celts. Or to homo erectus people. To dinosaurs, they have more historical rights than Hungary in Transylvania.
If Hungarian politicians disagree with this map, then they are welcome to visit my homeland, take some pictures, buy some land here, speak their native language (yeah, it's free), study in our Hungarian universities. No problem with that. But having wet dreams about Transylvania becoming a part of Hungary again... Hehe! Dream on boys, kiss Putin's hands, buy some Russian gas, build some Russian nuclear plants, buy some Swedish planes and perhaps, oh babe, God help Hungary, a bone will fall from the sky for you. This is the only chance.

Paul RO, I understand the feeling, the guilt sitting on another nation`s ancient land. Please do your homework, take a look at the interactive map of Europe - you can find an YouTube - let`s say, from the 9th century onwards, and try to locate "Romania". Oh, it`s not there, until when? Poor you!

Hungarian politicians... All they want is a greater Hungary. If you give them one more piece of land they would even leave NATO. This is their most important goal: more land. They would kiss the hands of Putin to get their "promised" land. Nah, not Voivodina, perhaps a share from Ukraine (Transkarpatia), or even Transylvania, who knows what they dream of...
One remark here: the year of 1940 won't repeat again. Ever. Even if they join hands with Satan.

Peter,
I have to say it is very sad to see Polish politicians not saying the word about current Ukrainian government. 6 very important portfolios are held by those admiring Bandera. (From Svoboda or Right Sector). Having in mind that Bandera and his gang killed 80,000 - 90,000 Polish women and children during WW2 you would have every right to demand distancing from this kind of ideology or people.

I believe it’s your comment of the month ! Just one thing missing. I mean best if you start your anti-sanctions list like this :

1) Russia is right and every adequate state should do the same.
2) Sanctions won't have any impact whatsoever and,
3) Russia will pump the gas/oil prices up …

Life is given only once and people should spend it wherever they want. When Poles are discriminated in micro Baltic states or Ukraine the Russians back the Poles. So when Russians are discriminated you too must stand by our side. Historical memory of peoples is a great capital. See how it echoes in Serbia.

And rightfully so. I wish every EU nation would oppose these sanctions, because:

1) They won't have any impact whatsoever and,

2) Russia will pump the gas/oil prices up to compensate for their losses. I am already paying roughly 500 PLN (120 euro, more or less) per month in the winter months and between 5,10 - 5,25 PLN (1,20 - 1,25 euro) for a liter of petrol. I don't want that to go up. Things are expensive enough as they are. I don't care enough about Ukraine to be bankrupted by it through blind support of them.

Tusk and Komorowski are nothing more than a bunch of blinded lapdogs at America's ankles, wagging their tail at every cookie Obama throws, and they are most active in promoting more sanctions on Russia, which will backfire on the average Pole. Thankfully the elections are coming and PO has lost much support. I will not miss these Western lackeys one bit.

Anyway, enough of my ranting. They tried sanctions, they achieved nothing. What is the point of risking more because of Ukraine? They should just leave it. Ukraine would not be in this situation anyway if it was not a Frankenstein of other peoples' land (ie. Russian, Polish, Romanian and Hungarian). Yeltsin the brain-dead alcoholic should have carved it up instead of letting his country collapse on its face.

Despite what the liars and propagandists in the US State Department, and their complicit mainstream media, I guess Russia is far from 'isolated'.
