If Vucic plans on adopting a new constitution (probably in 2015) he'll need a 2/3 (166) majority in parliament. He's close already (158) but if he wins over the minorities (11) he'll have enough. So I doubt he'll need SPS, DS or NDS.

I disagree. I don't think he is going to let Tadic join, when he can still blame Tadic for all of Serbias problems. I think it is also very unlikely that Canak is going to be given a position where he can embarase the government. The likey additions to the government will be the tiny ethnic parties from Sandjak and Vojvodina. That way he can have a multicultural representation in Government (something the EU wants, and something that is actually a good idea for stability). but If he allows the rump DS and the socialists to join, he is going to have a very week opposition which is something that might tempt Vucic to make deals

Well I've been wrong before, we shall have to wait and see.

My sense is that Vucic believes the west would like to see Tadic return to government and have some kind of role, so Vucic will be happy to oblige.

In the meantime Vucic must decide whether to continue in his policy of throwing Dacic / SPS to the wolves and ensure that Dacic is implicated with Saric, or to retreat from that populist electioneering and continue with SPS as some kind of election partner.

Its all win win for Vucic right now...
