But I'm sure the DS/SNS/SPS know this anyway and just don't care. They've decided to trade Kosovo for the EU plain and simple. Which would be okay if they were at least honest and open about it...

Just a clarification that the options for Serbia are: (1) Joining the EU without Kosovo; (2) Non-joining the EU without Kosovo. Serbia can't trade something that doesn't have. It's not that somebody will give Kosovo back to Serbia if Serbia does not join the EU :)

"He said that the councilors of four northern Kosovo municipalities were forced to sign the statement bearing the coat of arms of the illegally proclaimed republic of Kosovo, which was covered with a sticker that was to be peeled off later in Priština."

Just to clarify here that most likely Slobodan meant "illegally" under Serbian Law because it was not illegal under Internal Law.

" Due to the latest events, he noted, the Brussels agreement will collapse very soon. "

Good, I hope barricades start again, I miss those times, it is getting boring here on B92 without those types of articles. You know, the times when priests plant huge crosses in the middle of the street, when sacrificial lambs are sent there as "negotiators" (poor Stefanovic, poor poor Stefanovic), and boy scouts set custom buildings on fire. Now, it is just "two guys meet in Brussels for the 1203th time and talk, one guy refuses to sign a piece of paper, booooring!!".
P.S. the comment is sarcastic.

I don't play favorites in politics because they change so damn often but the DSS were right from the start. Everything they warned against has happened. Seriously, look back to all their press releases during the most important events related to Kosovo from '08 and you'll see what I mean. Little by little, this government, like the last, is slowly recognizing Kosovo independence all for the promise of the EU pipe dream.

But I'm sure the DS/SNS/SPS know this anyway and just don't care. They've decided to trade Kosovo for the EU plain and simple. Which would be okay if they were at least honest and open about it...

Serbia and the Serbs in Kosovo must be in power and patience, as much as it used to be hard to resist provocation Albanian side, and find a compromise that would show that Serbia really wants to stabilize the region, and Kosovo slowly move through the development, with respect the fact that Serbs there and that their safety and rights must be respected.

BELGRADE -- Problems during the constituting of municipalities in north Kosovo and the social and moral decline are clear indicators that it is time for early elections.

Yes, Mr. Samardzic, and the sun rising every morning is an even more clear indicator that new elections are inevitable.
