Something it's wrong with this news story. It can't be correct. As the CE of B92 forums sj has ruled, Russia is so rich that what Serbia is asking can't be expensive if Russia really wants to support Serbia with actions, not just words.

Any investment into Serbia is to be welcomed. Would Albania or any other neighboring Balkan state turn down this amount? Unlikely.

At last some good news to kick off 2014 amid all the gloom. Onwards and
upwards.

Well before going back to cleaning loos, enlighten us all with a list of what has the west done for Albos living standards in Kosovo????

As the CE of B92 forums sj has ruled, the West has done nothing for the Albos living standards in Kosovo and the only salvation for Kosovo is to join that mighty economic powerhouse called Serbia.

Well, has it? Answer the question.

The west is very rich so they must have done something to alleviate the horrendous levels of unemployment????
(sj, 1 January 2014 06:03)

Sorry, but the above can't be true because the CE of B92 forums sj has already ruled that the West has run out of cash and collapsed. It's one of the brilliant discoveries in economics theory in the 21st century and it is now an axiom of sj-economics that a country which recognizes Kosovo runs out of cash and collapses.

Russia and Serbia should exchange more students. Russia should finance Serbs and start tech companies with them. Serbs are known to work all around the world as engineers and developers. I found that Serbs have had patents on technology for many of the big name western companies, like IBM.
Russia does need more development. It has the resources and money, but it needs to produce more than military and space technology. Plus, in hiring Serbs, (and Serbs can be hired for construction and other work), they don't have to worry about being bombed and suicide-bombed like the Muslims have been doing.

"BELGRADE -- Russia supports Serbia’s efforts to resolve the Kosovo issue in a peaceful manner and to preserve the sovereignty of Serbia, says Aleksandr Chepurin.

Speaking about military cooperation between the two countries, Chepurin said talks on air defense systems will continue.

The diplomat said it is vital that the country determines what its specific needs are and how much it can spend on these systems, as they are very expensive."

What?! So when it comes to Kosovo, Russia supports Serbia with... words (they are obviously, free). But when it comes to actions, they are expensive and Serbia has to pay :).

Another Albanian jackass having a dream. Love the part about “Albanians in the region will handle all business transactions”. Hate to tell you but you need electricity to run computers – you know the funny looking TV.

Hell yea, in a few years Russia will completely own what ever remains of Serb territory! They must have great insight, that the Albanians in the region will handle all business transactions, in this neck of the woods! Can you blame russia, for wanting a piece of the pie? Ruskies, have a fairly good ability of predicting the future makeup in the Balkans, and they know very well that the Albanian factor grows by the day!!! You all remember that future map of the Balkans they put out there, for all to have a good look at!

"The Russian ambassador spoke about projects by the energy systems machine-building company Siloviye Mashiny and by a number of other hi-tech companies..."

High tech companies? In Russia? Did I miss something? Russia is more comparable to Saudi Arabia, i.e. living from its natural resources, instead of being a company with advanced technology. If you want to see a rising high tech country, look at China.
