Why is it OK for the Americans, British, Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Brazilians and others to print their own currency to get themselves out of an economic slump, and not OK for Serbia to do the same?
-----------

could have something to do with the face that the US dollar, the Euro and the Yen are global reserve currencies and many countries purchase these currencies to hedge their own.

As for Russia and China, could have something to do with the fact that they aren't freely traded currencies.

This is actually what you are proposing - that Serbia become some sort of a bubble.

This won't work because Serbs would rather be able to buy the latest iphone at a reasonable cost than to become some sort of hermetically-sealed "utopia"

Your advice would certainly lead to catastrophe. Unfortunately I am not able to answer your question on how US can and Serbia can not, but I will tell you my personal experience with excessive printing of dinars. Serbia already tried this in the 4 first years of nineties and results were horrible. My grandfather's pension was 12 billion dollars a month. In the first month he could buy two loafs of bread with his pension. The second month he traveled 20 km away on the bus and paid his ticket. Unfortunately on his way back the same day he couldn't get on the bus because the price of bus ticket was expensive and did not have enough money left in his pocket. Imagine his pension was so worthless that he couldn't pay his return trip.
On the third month he could buy one lighter with his pension. And that was not a fancy expensive lighter, but a lighter that costs 10 euro cents today.

"Serbia will only free itself from its economic crisis when it frees itself from the banksters. Print Dinars, trillions and them, build Serbian infrastructure with Serbian workers and materials. Inflation? If the Americans can print $16 trillion over the past 4 years with no inflation, then Serbia can certainly print 100 billion dinars without inflation.

The Serb trillionaire that can compete with Zimbabweans to buy one egg with all his fortune.

I say print quadrilions and buy the world, lol. But I care about the poor tax payers who have to feed the parasitic tax spenders, who have a monopoly of violence to extract tax/theft.

Its is amazing what forced government schooling will do to the kids that their own parents gave up for 35 hours a week to minimum wage workers, when they grow up.

Who the hell are you, “Peter?” Some low-life PR officer at the IMF?

How do you know what is “realistic?”

Why is it OK for the Americans, British, Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Brazilians and others to print their own currency to get themselves out of an economic slump, and not OK for Serbia to do the same?

Serbia should tell the IMF and World Bank and foreign-owned and bankrupt western banksters to go to hell. Serbia has the energies of its people and its own currency to help direct those energies. Serbia does not need more foreign debt or “advice” from Peter or his ilk.

Unfortunately, this plan is the only one which is realistic because of the situation in Serbia. We hope that something is going to change soon.
