Something stinks here. Why would the trade unions disprove of the proposed changes to the labour law if its (supposedly) in-line with EU standards? Wouldn't workers have greater rights, better benefits, more protection, etc. in that case? It seems every time the government pushes for some unpopular reforms/laws they label it as being "in-line with EU standards". Question is, are they?

why should he? He will be replaced, we will get another Minister and then the same problems and disagreeing with unions of workers.....we need someone who will deal with problems seriously, in its roots.
