Swan, if you think the people of Serbia will be better in the EU I don't agree. Many in the UK want to get out of the EU, we are fed up of the taxation , lack of democracy, etc etc. It was sold to the UK people as a trading organisation but we have no control of our borders, utilities are owned by foreigners and Germany calls the shots. The EU will really control Serbia, indebt you with loans to spend on what they say, normally infrastructure and military. No one I speak to wants to stay in the EU although I suspect most asylum seekers and illegal immigrants want to stay in, hence the massive levels of immigration over the past years, all planed. I also hope Serbia thinks carefully, the don't,t want to end up like Greece.

Serbia government policy towards Russian Serbian foreign relations is spot on, always rom for beter improvment in economy and milatery areas, stronger Rusia means stronger Serbia.

Unbelievable, i.e. Catherine Ashton and Hashim Thaci actually allowed PM Dacic to have a meeting with someone other than them?

Serbia will become a satellite state of Russia, if Russia can "tighten the screws" with all the promises and loans. Oh sadness is me to think Serbia is about to crumble and its citizens become "Russians" like the poor Baltics once were. Friends you can have, but choose carefully Serbian citizens.

Thanks for reminding us that it was thanks to the blood and effort of the Soviet, American and British soldiers and people that Nazi Germany was defeated in in WW2. Nobody is disputing that and I'm sure that every European is thankful to the Soviets, Americans and British for that.

However, that did not give the Soviet Union the right to occupy all of Eastern Europe, practically replacing Nazi's occupation with Soviet's one. Hundreds of thousands of American and British soldiers lost their lives to liberate Western Europe from the Nazis. However they did not see it as something that gave them the right to occupy Western Europe like the Soviet Union did with Eastern Europe.

Sure, the Soviet Union was the country that lost most of the soldiers on the battle field... Probably more than 20 million. Let's not forget though that the main reason for that was the sheer incompetence and sabotage of one person: Comrade Stalin.

Better poverty under the EU than hundreds of thousands of women and children deported to their death in Siberia under the Bolsheviks, I can assure you. Same is happening between the Albanians and their neighbors the Serbs and their neighbors … It’s a long story lasting 500 years now during which Poles never missed a chance to bite us from behind. In Europe Yugoslavia has lost on the battlefield ( some 300 000) more than anybody else. More than the USA or the Brits. And nobody is talking about it. But they are busy with mudding the USSR. The west has always hated us be it during Tsar during Lenin during Yeltsyn or during Putin.

Landed in Europe (1943 in Italy and 1944 in France), but they had been fighting the Axis in Africa and in the Pacific for years and they had been supplying the USSR for years, as well. Don't forget dear, that without the support of the Anglo-Saxons the USSR would have been destroyed. For example, the US alone supplied the USSR with 400,000 jeeps & trucks; 7,000 tanks and 11,400 aircraft.

But shortly I mean to say that it hurts me when the WBM (western brain washing machine) is imposing the idea that Communist were almost same as the Nazi. Did they buid concentration camps – no. Did they have sondercommands or gauleiters in Europe – no. Yes we imposed friendly regimes to safe ourselves coz it was not Germany that attacked us but 17 European countries.
