LOL Marko, seems like even the BBC has confirmed the boycott was a success. Check -> http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-24804953

On election day, it seemed the boycott campaign was poised to score a spectacular success. There was a farcical start when some of the ballot boxes marshalled by the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) were not ready for the early voters. But after that the polling stations in North Mitrovica were extremely quiet.

With two hours to go before they shut, it seemed that very few Serbs had voted - raising the possibility that an ethnic Albanian mayor might be elected in North Mitrovica. That would have been an untenable - if darkly comic - proposition. More importantly, the whole idea of an association of Serb municipalities would have been in tatters.

But then, this is organised by the west and elections are designed to go in their favour, even when they don't. Read the article, you can see the campaign was based on threats]. A typical example of Western democracy.

Marko, we are not anti-western, but we do know how things run here. Its odd to us that people like you think you understand the West better than we do. The West is great for the west, for everyone else they are either proffit driven, indifferent, or hostile. You can trust our warnings, they come from life experience. Despite that I am amused when people like Cedo Jovanovic think they are quite the New Yorkers.

@Zoran
Wow Zoran, long time no comment bro... Let me inform you that you'll be disappointed the coming days when you realise the boycott actually FAILED. Oh btw, say hi to your friend Koštunica, tell him to be very careful the next general elections as he won't find an empty dusty seat in the parliament for his rotten party.
It's time for you to visit Serbia and get your facts right. It's ironic how most of you people in diaspora are so anti-western while you live in the west!

LOL! In reality they could count the number of votes in a minute. I mean, how long does it take to count 5 of them? But then, this is "Kosovahhh"* so they will probably have a turnout of a few thousand percent.

The boycott was a success. Practically no Serbs voted and they have already expressed, in a democratic referendum, that 99% want nothing to do with Pristina. Of course, dictators don't really care about democracy.
