It is so incredible to me, that the biggest antagonists towards the EU were Nikolic, Vucic, and Dacic, are today EU's biggest proponents. What has happened in such a short time to change these hard core Serb's politician's minds? I am baffled until, I think a bit. Can you imagine the crap the EU has on these characters? They could quite easily wind up next to Mladic in the Hague, if the EU so wanted. I believe that may be the answer to their exuberance toward Serbia's EU membership talks. Keep in mind who these people are, and the damage they have done in the Balkans - and never forget. IMHO, the EU is being too lenient, but I guess they need them to get a certain job done.

Nikolic has shown himself nothing but a PUPPET. He pretended to be in opposition to and criticized Boris Tadic's policies but he is doing the exact same things.

And the EU is harming Serbia and Serbs and has shown to promote the permanent ethnic cleansing of Serbs and theft of their property and land, and also to approve of those who kidnapped, tortured and killed Serbs.

There is no good for Serbia in an organization run by anti-Serbs who hate Serbia. There will be nothing left of Serbia by the time it would enter the EU as more and more anti-Serbia conditions are placed on it.

Serbia refused to look at Switzerland and how they are doing well despite not being and EU member. Being an EU member doesn't guarantee prosperity as several members are now in financial straights.

The reason nikolic dacic and everyone has changed their positions is because Serbia has changed dramatically and now 63% say Kosovo is an independent nation and 67% wants to be in the EU! They want to be successful and reflect the Serbia view that Serbia needs to be in the EU and see Kosovo as an independent nation! Serbia has changed! It is not the 90's anymore. Serbia is united for EU and Kosovo independence and is a liberal country where nationalism and patriotism don't exist anymore.
