Just to confirm.... Is this the same EULEX that this guy is talking about http://wap.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2008&mm=10&dd=18&nav_id=54320 and this is tantamount to accepting the Ahtisaari Plan, and thereby Kosovo independence ?

Not really because if you have ever worked in government you would see it for what it really is and that being only a feel good statement for the local Albanians and little else. EULEX will be in Kosovo for a very long time considering the Albo judiciary has to be monitored 24/7 due to corruption; it police force is no better than it judiciary and so it goes on.

I told you so. This agreement is between EULEX and Kosova, and NOT between EULEX and serbia. Vulin is still in deep sleep since Slobo's time.

What a nonsense. The European Council decided that there should be EULEX, and no one else. Kosovo didn't call for that, UNSC approved the deployment of EULEX after Serbia agreed that EULEX could operate as an executive organ under UNMIK.

The initiative of Republic of Serbia, this is getting richer by the day. I guess next it will be that the idea of EULEX originally came from Serbia and its mandate was created in Belgrade.
