How to avoid being an assho*es in a world of assho*es
1) dont get caught up in politics and avoid hollywood movies
2) open doors for little old ladies(and little old men) regardless of thier race or background.
3) if confronted with a person from a hostile ethnic or religious group (for us serbs albanians and croats) put out your hand and invite them to dinner. get them drunk, feed them well and drive them home-invite them over again.
4) avoid tattoos (if you have them remove them)
5) drink in moderation, avoid all hard drugs and if you enjoy marijuana enjoy it in the privacy of your own home.
6) if someone frowns at you, put your ego aside, and smile at them and say hello.
7) if you go to nightclubs or bars be prepared to use the greatest martial art of all...RUN FU
