Getting lectures from Serbs on resignations is comedic. Your guys resign in the most dramatic fashion and then a week later go back and do the same exact job they resigned from, as if nothing happened. This is straight out of a Seinfield episode. Its as if your leaders are actors of a sitcom. Too bad its real life. Have some decency at least and recognize the fact that your clowns are taking you for a ride.

Jim,
Are you gone convince us that Cubrillovic doctrine never existed? The whole world so what happened, the mass graves, the refrigerated trucks full of victims dumped in the Belgrade river, the expulsion of one million people , the rapes. 1700 people are still missing. For you to come here and try to downplay it and somehow justify it, it's just unreal.

Xhafer,
if infact the tables have turned, then you might need to brush up on history and logic. in 1913, and 1945, k-albanians, cleansed and massacred serbs and were put under the serb thumbs in the end. it is not wrong to tell the truth. if it makes k-albanians feel bad about their true history, not a made up one, then like serbs, they'll need to face up to the truth, not the hype.
lets not pretend and argue over the false millions, or tens-of-thousands that brought nato to the game. lets look at un offical counts where are less than 10000 for all deaths. not nearly the same order of revolting violence from the serb program as was from the albanian ones.

indeed... what would international law say in that case, in the case of hypotheticals. what would it say if 2/3 of the world declared guam, the international capital?

No, I wouldn't call it like that. The main goal was to establish good business condition for his mafia clan. He was successful: Kosovo became Europe's main drug hub under the Thaci regime.

So, not much different to the former warlords in Afghanistan. The major difference is that Afghanistan produces drugs, and Kosovo distributes it around Europe.

pen's statement did not anywhere suggest illegality. what it did say, not a suggestion, but a hard and fast truth, was that kosovo is not officially an internationally recognized country. on the matters of international law it is still part of serbia.
what you're trying to do by throwing your 2 p into the mix is trying to spin the fact that icj judges determined that the act of declaration of independence is not illegal, but that judgement did not in any way support or refute the claim of independece. it mearly stated whether or not that claims were legal.
(coco, 20 June 2013 20:33)

Actually I was throwing out some bait, however I didn't get the response I was hoping for. What international law states that Kosovo is apart of Serbia? Please answer this. According to the UN, Kosovo isn't considered an official country by default, as Kosovo hasn't applied for membership. Obviously if Kosovo applied for full UN membership, Kosovo can expect a veto from Russia. So if Kosovo wants to get recognised by the UN, Kosovo needs to first apply to become an observer state in the UN General Assembly. This doesn't go to the UN Security Council, therefore there isn't a veto. Instead for Kosovo to become a member, a 2/3 majority vote is required. This is achievable for Kosovo once you take into consideration the abstentions. Then the UN would recognise Kosovo as a country. So what would international law say then?

The thought of Haradinaj's now serving as America's other trained monkey as a possible replacement probably also contributes to him taking a more realistic view of the situation. Hey, the man's got a business to control!

Why isn't Mr. Peci the leader of the albanian minority in Serbia? He clearly knows the history of the region. I bet he even speaks Serbian to his kids at home, so as when the Serb authorities regain control over kosovo & metohija his kids will be able to communicate. This happened during both World Wars when the Nazi's gave control of albanian populated areas to albanians only to revert to the Serbs in the end. Like I have always said to our fellow countrymen of albanian ethnicity, talk to your elders!

Why isn't Mr. Peci the leader of the albanian minority in Serbia? He clearly knows the history of the region. I bet he even speaks Serbian to his kids at home, so as when the Serb authorities regain control over kosovo & metohija his kids will be able to communicate. You know Robert this is exactly so many of you are NEVER allowed to come back to Kosovo again. Keep up this $hit and we will make sure you will never come back again. If you thought you were funny with your cynical comment well let me tell you I find nothing funny about your comment. This isnt 1913 or 1945. The tables have turned.

"I was convinced that the state policy regarding the full normalization of relations with Belgrade was precisely Serbia's recognition, but it seems that the policy is not such. Under these circumstances I do not accept to continue to work in the diplomatic service of Kosovo."

Strange, wasn't he a 'liaison officer' and not an ambassador? Exactly because of Kosovo is not a fully recognized country? Maybe not so smart that Pristina politicians tried to make people believe that these officers were genuine ambassadors with full diplomatic status.

Serbia is doing everything to recognize kosova independence. With the border guards and customs agents and meetings and conferences with kosova! Facts are facts!

See, it's embarrassing moments like this that happen when Albanian officials have their personal opinions repeatedly challenged by empirical data. Thaci has apparently gotten them message after his own reality check in July 2011. I guess Peci kind of got the message when his office lacked state symbols and doubled as bakery.

We should also thank Hash since his actions apparently put to rest the opinions of about two-thirds of our regular Albanian cyber patriots from the United States :)

pen's statement did not anywhere suggest illegality. what it did say, not a suggestion, but a hard and fast truth, was that kosovo is not officially an internationally recognized country. on the matters of international law it is still part of serbia.
what you're trying to do by throwing your 2 p into the mix is trying to spin the fact that icj judges determined that the act of declaration of independence is not illegal, but that judgement did not in any way support or refute the claim of independece. it mearly stated whether or not that claims were legal.

Xhafer,
if infact the tables have turned, then you might need to brush up on history and logic. in 1913, and 1945, k-albanians, cleansed and massacred serbs and were put under the serb thumbs in the end. it is not wrong to tell the truth. if it makes k-albanians feel bad about their true history, not a made up one, then like serbs, they'll need to face up to the truth, not the hype.
lets not pretend and argue over the false millions, or tens-of-thousands that brought nato to the game. lets look at un offical counts where are less than 10000 for all deaths. not nearly the same order of revolting violence from the serb program as was from the albanian ones.

Jim,
Are you gone convince us that Cubrillovic doctrine never existed? The whole world so what happened, the mass graves, the refrigerated trucks full of victims dumped in the Belgrade river, the expulsion of one million people , the rapes. 1700 people are still missing. For you to come here and try to downplay it and somehow justify it, it's just unreal.

Oh please don't be under any impression I've suddenly developed warm and fuzzy feelings for Hash. Granted I love the little guy's job in Kosovo because he makes it so damn easy for Serbs to see the stark realities of what life is under his benevolent rule. I'm just saying this man appears to finally have been trained by Washington to now know what to say and know when to keep his mouth shut. Without the American ambassador sending SMS messages.

The thought of Haradinaj's now serving as America's other trained monkey as a possible replacement probably also contributes to him taking a more realistic view of the situation. Hey, the man's got a business to control!
