Serbia was an extremely small poor country during WW1 with a tiny population. Serbia was by no means a superpower. It was a poor peasant country and her army was made up of untrained conscripts. Serbia was militarily defeated in WW1 and her forces had to retreat to Albania and Greece.

Serbia had some limited success at the start of WW1 in 1914 with victories at the Battle of Cer and the Battle of Kolubara. After that Serbia was defeated in every other battle such as the Morava Offensive, the Ovce Pole Offensive, Kosovo Offensive ect. However Serbia was involved with the Macedonia Offensive, along with France, the UK, Italy, Russia, Greece and Montenegro.

To say Serbia was a superpower in WW1 is daft. You should read a history book.

What is the Serbian president asking....allowing Kosovo representation as a state? Does the Serbian president needs another health check? He doesn't know yet that Croatia has recognised formally Kosovo independece....

If we take a more rational view of what the EU brings to ordinary citizens then the benefits of membership are not so clear.

Most EU countries are bankrupt, and those that are not are nearly bankrupt. Does anyone seriously believe that Croatia will be any richer as an EU member than it is today?

The EU is also a vehicle for suppressing cultural values and replacing them with politically correct thinking. They do this by destroying traditional values and breaking down the family. This is done in many ways, including financing thousands of NGOs, routing Third-World immigrants into member countries, and organising major events like Gay Pride. B92 reported that 12,000 people attended Gay Pride in Zagreb last week. This is a very bad sign and suggests that Croats have surrendered to the Global Elite.

Yet the UK for 100 years could barely defeat a small army (IRA), who in the end humiliated the UK. Yes, it's really a bad sign if a pride parade by homosexual persons can be held without problems. Everyone surelys prefer the Serbian 'cultural value' of homophobia, where such a parade had to be canceled because of threats by violent hooligans.
