Croatian man caught driving without license 996 times

Might as well just let him go for the big 1000! lolz

I was expecting to read either Lenard with his last name or some other Croat whose first name starts with
with the letter "S" and last name starts with the letter "J ".
The only other Croat that I kind of know from reading here on b92 that would be a likely candidate is Bam Bam, the international cheese lover and connoisseur like Lenard, but Bam Bam is obviously his moniker.

Why has this chap not been put in jail for so many offences and for causing four accidents while drink driving, this beggars belief. If this had happened in say England they would have thrown the book at him locked him up and then thrown the key away. I laughed when I read this at first but it's not so funny causing an accident. I thought the law in Croatia would have been more strict for such a repeat offender. If they confiscate his vehicle every time he gets caught, how does he afford to keep buying more cars for pete's sake??? he must have a pretty good income to keep doing that. This guy must have a very high disregard for the police and the courts. Car dealers must love him eh!!

The law in Croatia is a joke. Seriously, they can't do anything?
Contempt of court is an offense punishable by jail. He has done that one time and time again and they still can't jail him?
The judge rules you can't drive, you ignore it and that's not considered contempt of court?
