“I'm leaving that to you to find out... I saw a whiner/looser and pointed it out; it you want to point out somebody as the opposite, feel free to do so.
(icj1, 2 April 2013 04:25)”

I didn’t state that I wanted to point somebody out to be the opposite. How can I when I don’t know the criteria for a winner or loser mentality? That’s why I asked you -- I had initially thought that since you apparently wrote about a loser mentality, you might know the opposite too ie. a winner mentality.

But now I’m mystified. I had earlier thought that you misspelt “loser” with “looser”. But in your reply, you again wrote "looser” and so you basically confirmed your earlier spelling. So to you a whiner is a looser and a looser is a whiner, right? Anyway, I went online to your fave Merriam Webster to check the meaning of ““looser” and came up with nothing. So please explain who are the “loosers” that even Merriam Webster does not appear to know. And why and how are they the same people as the whiners?

Finally I note that you did not reply on my other points.

what then, would you call the opposite -- a typical winner's mentality? What is the criteria? And who, if anyone, personify this glorious opposite of the "typical looser (sic) mentality"?

So be it.Nobody is interested to join this bankrupt club apart from the Albanians and the EU themselves. The club is just like a ponzi scheme and the more countries it sucks in the more lease of life it gets till its final collapse.Go East, only Russia can help Serbia.

They will fail, simply because there is no common ground for an agreement. All of these talks are just formalities and almost everyone knows the outcome. No Deal!
The UN will remain occupants of Kosovo and the Albanians will continue as if they are running an independent country. Serbia will never see Kosovo again but will constitutionally remain responsible, costing the Serbian taxpayers billions, money that could be spend better like on much needed improvements into schools, hospitals, roads, basically everything.
Both sides will need to compromise but each side is playing poker bluff. Very silly, almost like child like.
If Tito was still around things would certainly have been resolved by now.

Precisely why methinks Serbia should not join the EU and become voluntary servants.

I don't think the Russians are that griefed about the impact on the German taxpayers or the euro's reputation ..... actually I do agree with you about the lesson for Serbia -- don't expect Russian help when you join the EU because the help should come from your fellow EU members however much it upsets their taxpayers!

(Ron, 31 March 2013 17:32)
Oh wise one please enlighten us on which part of the South Sudan Route should Kosovo have taken?
The first civil war that lasted 17 years or the 2nd civil war that lasted 22 years at a cost of over 2 million civilian lives. Maybe the torture or selling women and children into slavery. Maybe, you are talking about burning people alive in buildings. Or are you talking about the holding of a referendum before declaring independence. Quite possibly your are talking about if Serbia like Sudan agreed to recognize the declared independence.
Just which part of that do you think that Kosovo should have followed???And maybe just maybe you might want to enlighten us on the lives of those in South Sudan that are in opposition to seperating from Sudan, which would be the equivalent of Serbs in Kosovo, are enjoying their human rights.

Ron you still suffer from the delusion that you are part of the master race and you have some type of superior importance on earth. The whole EU integration thing is for 2 purposes and 2 only. To reign in Serbia, when they say that Serbia is important for peace and stabilization in the region, it is because it is the wild card in the region, not a leader.
The other is to try and soften the blow to Serbia for the loss of Kosovo again to maintain peace and stability. Do you think that Serbia has this accelerated course because you earned it?
The EU has made a major investment not only in money and manpower but commitment to Kosovo. It is NOT going to allow Serbia to stand in the way. Kosovo will be part of the EU in one form or another.
Without a future in the EU, Serbia will lose any of its appeal to China and yes Russia. They are not going to carry you like the EU. They may loan money with restrictions or purchase your assets for 20 cents on the dollar but they are not charitable states.

On the other hand, without the EU, their wealth couldn't 'go down the drain', because countries like Greece and Portugal would be on a similar level of wealth as Albania or Turkey, nowadays.

This is complete tosh irrespective of gaining a date if he believes EU is the way ahead then whats stopping Serbia with using 2 years and progressing with what would need to be done as if they starter asecession talks i.e. Continue with Anti-corruption and a complete overhaul of institutions and business practice ?

Personallly being not too impressed with the way EUSSR is formed run I would not been dissapointed if these talks designed with Serbia's humiliation at its core did not succeed. That Said Serbia must implement institutional changes regardless of EU or not for a truly succesful economic revival. In so many respects implementation of chapters while remaining out of EU is a far more economicaly viable option the EU alternative exemplified by Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and possibly others - not a great future for Serbia!

Ask the public sector of all those countries where the wealth went. All those countries fed parasites who voted for more money, more loans, more debt for unborn kids. And now the thiefs cant keep up their luxurious standards, so they threaten everybody else for their fix.

Notice that in all demonstrations, it is always the parasitic public class who demands the monopoly of force (government) to steal more from the productive sector (private sector).

It is never the productive people who block roads, and shout for impossible things, while threatening children, patients, elderly, and producers.

All the money was stolen mostly from the most effective northern european people, and given, to the worst hypocrites in history.

And notice as the balkans are looking forward for this transfer of communist wealth.

"Seriously, what has the EU done for Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and now Cyprus? Where is thier wealth and fortune? From what I can see, their economy is going down the drain!!Is this seriously the future that Serbia really wants??
(So sad, Too bad,"

If you see joining the EU as Serbs spending their day in a bar and the Germans working for them, then you are grossly misled, dear. Anyway, it was the EU which, at the end, saved Cyprus from collapse not Russia where Cyprus went and begged for money but was shown the door (just a reminder of what awaits Serbia, as well, when it beggs Russia for money).

Just whining of people who always blame others for their failures because that's easier than trying to fix what's wrong... typical looser mentality.

Yes. If Kosovo had taken the Slovakia / South Soudan route!
(Ron, 31 March 2013 17:32)

You really need to do some serious reaserch. check and Slovak had a clean divorce. South Sudan had a referendum without north Sudan. So , what are you trying to say? You seem to be confused body. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Why would the Kosovo Albanians want Serbia in EU ?.

I Quote -

If Belgrade-Priština negotiations on April 2 fail, Serbia’s EU integration will be stopped for the next two years, Deputy PM Rasim Ljajić has said. ?

Comment - So Serbias EU integration depends on the Kosovo Albanians ?

On the other hand, without the EU, their wealth couldn't 'go down the drain', because countries like Greece and Portugal would be on a similar level of wealth as Albania or Turkey, nowadays.

Well, but if Serbia will not enter EU the region of Kosovo will not enter EU for sure. And my guess is that EU wants Kosovo region inside EU.

If the EU blocks Serbia then I am sure Spain, Romania and others will block Kosovo entry to EU.

So a stalemate? Yes. Could this be avoided? Yes. If Kosovo had taken the Slovakia / South Soudan route!
(Ron, 31 March 2013 17:32)

Kosovo took South sudan route in 1990 june 2nd but unfortanatly Serbia did not like it. take a referendum in Kosovo today and you will get a independent Kosovo. Serbia knows this and it did not want it.

Why you go ballistics? Three exclamation marks? If EU integration depends of those people we don’t need it. But in any case Kosovo will remain Serbia.

"If you see joining the EU as Serbs spending their day in a bar and the Germans working for them, then you are grossly misled, dear."

Precisely why methinks Serbia should not join the EU and become voluntary servants.

"Anyway, it was the EU which, at the end, saved Cyprus from collapse not Russia where Cyprus went and begged for money but was shown the door (just a reminder of what awaits Serbia, as well, when it beggs Russia for money)."

Now why should Russia help the EU (aka mainly Germans) financially? Which is what she would be doing in reality if she bailed out an EU member instead of leaving that to the Germans themselves. I don't think the Russians are that griefed about the impact on the German taxpayers or the euro's reputation ..... actually I do agree with you about the lesson for Serbia -- don't expect Russian help when you join the EU because the help should come from your fellow EU members however much it upsets their taxpayers!

what then, would you call the opposite -- a typical winner's mentality? What is the criteria? And who, if anyone, personify this glorious opposite of the "typical looser (sic) mentality"?

So be it.Nobody is interested to join this bankrupt club apart from the Albanians and the EU themselves. The club is just like a ponzi scheme and the more countries it sucks in the more lease of life it gets till its final collapse.Go East, only Russia can help Serbia.
