Is the responsibility of the Minister to carry milk samples for analysis? It might be different order. Is there someone else accountable before him?

Once again, the Serbian government is focused on "pointing the finger" at someone, instead of solving a problem in the best way possible. This obsession just demonstrates the governments inability to be to make real changes to their policies. This attitude is completely irresponsible.

"SNS deputy leader Igor Mirović said after the session that those responsible for mistakes in ministries and state organs would be punished."

Yeah, yeah. Probably only refers to people who are DS members.

But why that? Where's the problem? The SNS member and agricultural minister raised the allowed level of aflatoxin, so all problems are solved now and 'milk is safe' like it was in the last decades, I thought?

DS lost election for a reason, and this government did more for Serbia in 6 months then the last one in the 4 years.

If this government did absolutely nothing in the next 4 years it would still do better than the DS led government, which as we know, was corrupt and damaged this country.

I was just looking at the picture with this article, what a horrible cast of characters. I do not want to get into details, but if the SNS truly wants to clean Serbia, and Serbian politics, or corruption, they must start from within. Or maybe, once a radical, always a radical?

Get of the entire Vlada, government. They have proven once again that they are corrupt, incompetent, deceitful - shall I go on? Only after the EU told them they MUST obey EU laws and standards regarding food and agriculture, did they (SNS) change their tune. Before, their solution was to simply raise the permitted level for toxins in milk. I mean, to jeopardize the health of the nation because the farmers and milk producers would take a hit, not to mention God knows how much they (SNS) personally stands to lose, just shows the character of this government.

DS lost election for a reason, and this government did more for Serbia in 6 months then the last one in the 4 years. If the standard in USA is 0,5 i see no reason why the same shouldn't be applied. Its gonna take a lot of time to get accepted into EU, plenty of time to get all the regulations in order.

The Serbian citizens are not the ones to be trifled with. Suppose the government issues a decree and rules on that smoking marijuana does not affect the health of the juveniles . The decree that the government has passed will be a blot on its conscience that will hardly be erased. It is funny to listen to a nebulous rumor-monger , a high-level official Mirovic , twisting the facts and stirring passions in the political strife, rumbling on who is to blame for the aflatoxin in milk. The irrefutable evidence is hardly to be denied . He oversteps the limits of fair political behavior . He unreasonably accuses Goran Ješić and DS and does not realize that Agriculture Minister has minimized the impact of toxin in milk, committing damage to the balance of trade with other countries. He should take the responsibility and step down from his post.

As someone who is not even against this government, it is clear that the minister of agriculture should be asked to resign. Instead of publishing the names of some low level scapegoats, responsible people should be fired quietly. The aflotoxin level should be lowered along with a plan on how to achieve the goal. When there are drought conditions extra care should be taken with the feed supply.

There is no witch hunt for the ag minister to resign, it is just the common sense thing to do.
