Right or wrong re the supply of arms, credit to the Russians for standing up & confirming this. Unlike the many other countries who serve as nothing but hypocrites whereby they supply arms via 'back door' means so as to avoid direct criticism & continue to hide behind the supply remaining implied while all the time lining their greedy pockets. Stop the hypocrisy & smell the rose’s folks. i.e. REALITY Checks warranted.

John, you are right. Also please keep in mind that there are some 40,000 Russian women living in Syria - married to Syrians, who used to study in the Soviet-Union like many others from "brotherly" countries. Once Assad's regime is gone they will run for their life. Putin will have to organize a "land-bridge" for them. Also the billions of dollars for the Russian weapons will never be paid.

Once the rebels have liberated their country from the Assad thugs, no Russian will set foot in this country for the next hundred years.

Oh you're so correct Amer. Absolutely, Kerry is now SoS, but if you're going to simply discount the past actions of SoS from 3 days ago, then please oh please apply same lack of memory to other arguements you so like to harp on. if you have the gaul to use phrases like milosevic era, you cannot then ignore clintona's era.
just food for logical thought.
and once a Generalissima, always a Generalissima.

"Generalissima Clinton is supplying the Syrian Al K. Duh ..."

Hillary is no longer Secretary of State. John Kerry was sworn in a few days ago.

bob and rocky, please explain to me where the rebels are getting their weapons from and how come this war is lasting this long if Russia is supplying Syria? PLease tell me how long it took Sri Lanka to wipe out the Tamil Tigers (who had no western support) and compare that with Libya and Syria.

let us not forget that Generalissima Clinton is supplying the Syrian Al K. Duh (not to be confused with George Duh Bya) team. Atleast Russians don't flip flop who is a friend and a foe until you can't tell anylonger.

Greed & evil, hand in hand! 60,000 dead, just to fulfill the needs of a few fat cats in Russia... The same thing was happening in former Yugoslavia, during the 1990s!

Bob

So they support someone responsible for suppressing peaceful demonstrations with gun-fire and then allowing escalation so that 60000 people have died needlessly.

Russia should have done better than that - and still could.
