At least 245 people were killed in a fire at the Kiss nightclub in the southern city of Santa Maria early Sunday, according to Police Maj. Cleberson Braida.

My condolences for the victims. Apparently bad fire security was partly responsible for this tragedy. It's unfortunately something that could well happen in many places in southeastern Europe, too. If you take a look at the fire security measures in many clubs here (no matter what country), you find many deficienies.
