There's a certain amount of crime in every society

Yes, but Serbia has higher standards and is a leader in the world as for everything else :)

Have you ever heard of a crime committed in Serbia ?!

There's a certain amount of crime in every society, and some of what happens south of the Ibar is probably related to ethnic tensions. But going after Serb members of the police force in Northern Mitrovica? The Albanians have no reason to want to see them scared off. And what nationality along the border gets their electricity delivered by the Serbian system, and feels entitled to object when required to pay for it? As for empty houses being vandalized, that doesn't happen only to Serbs - insurance companies are trying to convince Albanians to sign up for their products when they leave for months at a time to work abroad. (You have to pay extra to ensure an empty house in the U.S., too.)

Or at least, consider the old test: "Who benefits?" (Hint: in this case, it's certainly not the Albanians.)
(Amer, 25 December 2012 16:04)

Well, if this test would be true, there would be no ethnically motivated crimes in Kosovo, no looting and destroying of Serbian churches, monasteries, no stoning of Serbian buses, no killing of Serbian pensioners. Why? Because it's surely not helpful for Kosovo trying to be a democratic, multi-ethnic, European state. If, of course, the goal is to create an ethnically cleansed Albanian Kosovo, then we know who benefits from these 'accidents'

If you read Serbian, take a look at the comments on the Serbian page. Or the Facebook page of the North Kosovo group (recommended there - I haven't checked it out myself - I have other things to do today).

Or at least, consider the old test: "Who benefits?" (Hint: in this case, it's certainly not the Albanians.)

Jesus, can the Albanians in Kosovo give it a rest for just one day? What is with all this violence and destruction? I have never seen a more violent people in my life. Is everything solved with arson and gunfire by Albanians?
