If we determine that police are responsible for wiretapping, all top police officials will be sacked, arrested and put on trial, says Ivica Dačić.

I like this. Deeper Serbia sinks better for us. (Avni, 3 November)

I recommended this post for it’s the key moment ! This is how all Serbophobes think and under this angle we have to estimate things. Even if Dacic is a SOB for the time being he is OUR SOB with no questions asked. Otherwise we’ll have quite another coalition and Jinjic kind Otporians will be revived. Policemen should be punished but the anti-NATO coalition should be preserved. Serbia needs this coalition not to turn into another independent Montenegro or Kosovo whose affair does not depend on them.

We need a great purge of the police. Eavesdropping Serbian president and the first vice-president of the Serbian government is unacceptable. Everyone who participated in the service should be brought to trial and be sentenced to the maximum penalty.

Comment - Swedes dont wote in Serbian Elections if you didnt know.

And by the way - Thaci is a looser in the longer run, and he will take the whole Albanian comunity in Kosovo down with him.
I therefore suggests that you leave for Albania as soon as possible,
when you still can.

My feeling Putins KGB Kremlin is responsible then all will be all swept under the rug. Serbs will say thank heaven it is only our dear friend KGB Putinia of Kremia that's OK.

Dacic is directly responsible for that wire tapping, whether he knew about it or not, because it was either severe incompetence, negligence or even a deliberate act. Serbian MUP once again shows that it is an unstable element in the whole of Balkans which cannot be trusted.

BG, I'm no fan of Dacic, but I have to disagree with you on this one. The new government has been in power for only a few months and it seems that they uncovered this in a very short time, and made it a matter of public record. I'd say that is both impressive and transparent.

If Nikolic had daily press conferences about his every single thought and feeling of the day like Dacic does, there would no need for Dacic to wiretap Nikolic :).

No, until the investigation is complete, we won't know who is responsible for the wiretaping. Good on the Nikolic administration for cleaning up corruption in the Serbia.

Yes rogue elements will be blamed, with some implied responsibility of other former political partners - very predictable.

If this was a serious nation in democratic terms a politician would be forced to resign for this. If what Dacic is claiming is true then how come neither he or anybody else at his Interior Ministry had control over the secret police?

And the chances are that if Dacic didn't know what was going on then his understudy at IM at the time, a close Dacic ally also from SPS had operational control.

Just goes to show that Dacic talks a better game in his fictional world than his activities in real life.

Some tycoons does not agree with anti-corruption politics of New Government. But there should be no compromises with them. No one must not be stronger than state.
