Parliament strips former minister of immunity

The Serbian parliament met on Monday in Belgrade and decided to lift Oliver Dulić's immunity from prosecution, granted to him as an MP.

Once again, Dulic tried to fool our judiciary system. Verbal renounce from his immunity was desperate move since he was tried to put the process. Namely, after authorities place him under custody, the whole process would have been put at the beginning since his renounce was verbal, not written. Luckily there are much smarter persons in current government able to see through this...

While I do not think that there should be immunity for ministers of a government, it totally makes no sense to me to have it and then if another party comes into office it can be stripped. Then it becomes a political tool.
In other words those that are in power are untouchable as long as they remain in power. The perfect formula for widespread corruption. Probably the intention of the law.

To be able to realize the court proceedings, parliamentary immunity should be striped. Dulic is involved in serious crimes.Ex Minister abused the position for personal enrichment, and enrichment of their colleagues.
