Novak is running out of time to come anywhere close to achieving what truly great players like Sampras,Federer,Lendl etc have achieved in their careers. He does not seem to be mentally on par with guys who have won Wimbledon or the other Grand Slam tournaments 5 times in a row.

Having beaten the #1 and #2 in the world in 30 days apart will give Murray a lot of confidence. With Roger aging and Rafa battling injuries I think he will become the new #1. Unless Djokovic figures something out fast.

I will never forget his Wimbledon final. Novak is such a true talent, a pleasure to watch and a real inspiration.
His comments were spot on, the Brit definitely deserved it more having to reach the finals so many times and not win.
The Serb seem pressurised ever since he won Wimbledon and needs to worry less about what others expect of him and just play his best tennis. I’m happy Andy got to win it as it’s probably his best and maybe last chance for a grand slam title.

Andy Murray... what a lad! Long over due! He has finally started to win now, first gold at the Olympics and now the US Open. Hopefully this opens the door for him to win more tournaments!

Unlucky for Djokovic though, great player; but he seems to have been de-throned in recent competetions.
