Why does Serbia continue to support the murderous regime of Syria's Bashar Al-Assad.

The US supports places like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Kuwait. These are not very nice places to live or try and express your opinion, but the west led by the US still support them. When the people of Bahrain tried to express their Arab spring, Saudi Arabia sent tanks and its military to quell that “uprising” and the west said nothing; not a peep out of them. That action killed many people and where is the US to condemn it???? Like the good hypocrites they are, not a word, but they claim Assad is a murderer.
