"Luke, hopefully he will make one about the ustashe genocide on the serbs, and about ww1. "

It'd probably just become an "Underground"-prequel.

But although politically doubtful, "Underground" was at least on a high artistic level. Eversince, most films Kusturica has made are nothing but reboiled ideas from earlier projects: "Crna mačka, beli mačor", "Život je čudo", "Zavet". Yawn!!!

But what would you expect from an artist who only has contact with a very small, homogenous group of like-minded people and avoids anyone who disagrees with him?

Whose,Kusturica to play and destroy the fortress and entire souls of people of this village, just because he is famous and has little money, those stones are landmark, and they shouldn't been touched,Kusturica,Mayor,Chief OF police whose in charge to serve and protect and all other people that are involved should be faced with charges for destroying, cultural, heritage, souls of country's oldest fortress.

What kind of a person knocks down an historic building on a "nod and a wink" For something as serious as removing stone from a historic building any reasonable person would seek written permission from the proper authorities.

And if Mr. Kusturica is so bright and knows people are watching every step he takes why is he so stupid to take those damn bricks because the mayor orally gave the green light.... Maybe its an idea to have it in writing.... which by the way also puts the mayor on a very questionable position making decisions verbally on his own...maybe time for a new mayor... maybe time for a complete new set of people running the country...

"Andrićgrad will be a place of peace and prosperity, a place where people will trade and exchange ideas, where the Ottoman Empire and Byzantine will meet, neoclassicism and the renaissance"

Will this include the bridge where the massacres took place?

Emir Kusturica should rather focus on making good films again. "Zavet" was terrible & boring. Just like his ridiculous Andricgrad project, it only proves one thing: Kusturica's run out of ideas.

Luke, hopefully he will make one about the ustashe genocide on the serbs, and about ww1. Cheers!

As for the stones... these people are not crazy to be angry for no reason. I am sure he's ruining the fortress, why else would they be protesting?
