A report also states that in Zajecar the URS candidate in 7 polling stations received 100-200% of the vote.
(Cvele, 11 May 2012 20:12)

200%? Impressive! Much better than Thaci in Kosovo who only received some 115% of the votes!

Zoran you might want to bear in mind that it is URS who are claiming that fraud went on in Novi Sad and Subotica. Yes, the same URS who have the finger pointed at them most clearly for vote stealing in Zajecar.

Bless their little cotton socks, how honest - instead of leading the calls for a recount in Zajecar they are in fact victims of vote rigging. Dinkic knows its good to be the one pointing the finger...

Zoran,

I've been dying to sit down in Znak pitanja, listen to the toll of Saborna crkva's bells and lift a glass of beer when waiting for my muckalica to arrive.

It will still take some weeks before I can do all that, in the second week of June, or so. Maybe the 10th day, my big day (you know, the day that we all have once a year, except those who have it every year...).

Anyway, I look forward to exchanging views on life etc. with you, in Znak pitanja, naturally.

Are you in Belgrade anytime soon? My shout!

Zoran, well lets see what happened in Novi Sad and Subotica. Its all very well when politicians make allegations, they do this all day and night and much of the time they are lying through their teeth.

Lets add Nis to that list also. Thanks Cvele for the link. Dirty dirty elections organised by dirty dirty thieves. Not sure why you are justifying it. I voted in these elections and I wouldn't be surprised if this happened in Belgrade. This is the third country I've voted in and I haven't seen so many kids involved in this. Easy to manipulate.

Thanks Olli, you have earned my respect. Serbia is only over this kind of thing if they know the favoured party will form a government. However, if this is not the case then we have to resort to this type of theft. If this was the opposition then Serbia will be on the verge of a "revolution". Democracy is a fallacy, especially in Serbia.

Are you in Belgrade anytime soon? My shout!

The third largest city (not second as I hinted at in my previous unpublished post) is having a re-vote at 17 polling stations due to fraud. This amounts to 30,000 votes.

http://www.glas-javnosti.rs/clanak/srbija/glas-javnosti-08-05-2012/nislije-ce-ponovo-glasati-na-17-mesta

Olli I can't say that just because there were irregularities in Zajecar it means it was very likely elsewhere, any more than I could bring up an example of a constituency where it was regular and on the basis of that believe that it was very likely fair everywhere. And by the way I would not be surprised if a Zajecar happens in every single Serbian election, but in places we don't hear about where local officials have received bribes or nobody made a video recording.

I can't believe that there were mass irregularities until evidence shows that fact. And yes it is exactly the question whether something fishy was done with the ballot papers or not. Of course there will always be disorganisation and incompetence, god knows we are used to that, but the question is was there fraud and to what extent.

Perhaps I'm jaded or just used to politics here, but I am not surprised by what happened in Zajecar. The thing that did surprise me was the sheer incompetence of those trying to steal votes, if that was what they were doing. It begs belief that anybody could be so stupid as to do this in full view of public and other officials.

Zoran, well lets see what happened in Novi Sad and Subotica. Its all very well when politicians make allegations, they do this all day and night and much of the time they are lying through their teeth.

Zoran some 2 days ago B92 had a report about the irregularities in Zajecar, but I'm glad that now that its on youtube you have noticed...

And no, most but not all election polls showed SRS over 5% and URS under 5%.

Now if its true that URS cheated, how about providing calculations showing how a smallish sized town in Serbia can knock off percentage points to put SRS under the census, put Dveri under the census and reduce SNS by 15% of their national vote?

So whether I think its legit or not is by the by, as it doesn't change the main result. On the other hand if the allegations are true there should be a recount in Zajecar.

Zoran

pre 11 godina

Poor Nikolic, that's what happens when you make deals with the devil. You'll get screwed in the end.

So essentially, to form a government we need 126 seats out of 250. Now when we look at the election results we get:

SNS 73 seats 24.04%
DS 67 seats 22.11%
SPS 44 seats 14.53%
DSS 21 seats 07.00%
LDP 19 seats 06.52%
URS 16 seats 05.49%

So DS + SPS + URS = 127 seats.

Now that comes after election fraud (as proven in Zaječar), pushing URS over the 5% barrier and pushing the SRS under 5% giving the 6 parties the seats of the SRS and Dveri. All pre-election polls showed URS under 5% and SRS over 5%.

It is quite amazing how this video appeared on Youtube. Why didn't B92 link to it? If the tables were turned, this would be world news.

Anyway, here is the theft in action. Check -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rIkWqRx9LI

Of course our friend bganon thinks this is legit.

Easy, it´s like the NATO "tribunal" infamous "secret witnesses" nobody but themselves know about. Difference is, in this case the culprits (Tadic & Co)are obvious since they can´t win without fraud and dirty tricks.

How on earth can you file charges against 'unidentified persons'? It is just so stupid, there probably was election fraud but at least have someone to accuse if you want to win the case, they have no chance in this case and the guilty people will go unpunished because the SNS don't even know who they are.

Now if its true that URS cheated, how about providing calculations showing how a smallish sized town in Serbia can knock off percentage points to put SRS under the census, put Dveri under the census and reduce SNS by 15% of their national vote?

Not just this smallish town but we are talking about Novi Sad and Subotica also, the 2nd and 4th largest cities. If it happened there then it probably happened in a lot of places.

A report also states that in Zajecar the URS candidate in 7 polling stations received 100-200% of the vote.

200%? Impressive! Much better than Thaci in Kosovo who only received some 115% of the votes!

The third largest city (not second as I hinted at in my previous unpublished post) is having a re-vote at 17 polling stations due to fraud. This amounts to 30,000 votes.
