Apparently you're too ignorant to recognize the difference between local elections(which Pristina said will not happen) and these elections(which Pristina said were ok a long time ago). I would bother explaining the difference but it would serve no purpose.

Once again for the albos who cannot seem to grasp what is happening. Kosovo cannot, and will never be, independent without the agreement of the rest of Serbia. All else is wishful thinking. When the albs learn to behave properly, they may be able to convince some they are worthy. Otherwise, no dice.

Since Kosovo is Serbia why u need OSCE to hold the elections and count the ballots in Central Serbia.I didnt know that OSCE holds the elections in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
Also why dont u hold local elections in Kosovo?
In the polling stations will read OSCE and not Serbia Election Commision.
Kosovo is not Serbia,only blind people say Kosovo is Serbia,when Serbia gonverment has NO POWER OVER KOSOVO.
If Tadic coalition win and Tadic wil become President of Serbia,than it looks serbian people will choose EU over Kosovo.
If anti EU forces win that serbian people will choose myths and legends over the reality.
I hope they choose EU and accept the reality over Kosovo,because is good for all the region.

oh, and mirel, the osce will be there to monitor the elections. they've actually done this in real countries that have a chair at the un. don't feel bad, they're not picking on kosovo because it is in a state of flux, this is an international organization and this is one of the things that they do. one of the other things that they do is independently investigate things. like in 1999 when the osce investigated the number of deaths in the time period leading up to the nato bombardment of kosovo. in their report, they showed without a doubt that the numbers of deaths were within the normal numbers. are you perhaps ticked with the ocse for bringing truth and decency to kosovo?
once again, they are not holding the elections. they are international monitors.
must be a problem that comes with age.

The votes are being counted in Raska because of the threat of ROSU seizing the ballots. The only part of Kosovo that would be safe would be the north.

well, just because out of desperation you can't grasp it, it does not mean that Kosovo is not independent from Serbia. Even Serbia recognizes that when it says that UNMIK, not Serbia, is in charge in Kosovo. But if you define that as "Kosovo not being independent from Serbia" that's fine... we just need to clarify the definitions :)

Yes, but not elections organized by Serbia, but by those districts themselves for which Kosovo's Constitution recognizes the resident's right to govern their own local affairs... the same way that, say, New York City can organize elections whenever it wants.

While trying to make Kosovo or Albanians look bad, you only show a reflection of yourself to anyone who has some knowledge. You know absolutely nothing about Haiti and the plight of the people there.
It only shows that UN membership is not the tell all of whether a country is independent or not.
Take away the foreign loans and the donations to Serbia and you would probably be able to compare the lives of Serbians to Haitians.
