Macedonia: Killers used three different weapons

Albanians have played a very clever game indeed. The west is in a bind now and cannot admit that they backed the wrong side. No matter what happens in Macedonia, the west has to make sure that Macedonian population is not protected because if they portrayed them as victims they would have to portray the Albanians as villains and there goes their reason for bombing Serbia.
Albanians know they can now do whatever they like and in time take territory away from the Macedonians too, after all they are the victims.
And so it begins.
The mistake Macedonians have made is recognising Kosovo. They thought that if they appease the Albanians they will be spared. You know the story about feeding the crocodile. Eventually the crocodile will come for you too no matter how many people you feed it first.

This feels familiar. Whoever did it has instilled fear and anger the local christian Macedonian community.

Soon they'll be demanding protection from their government, lets hope the Macedonain authorities don't fall into the trap Slobo did offering them protection and a crackdown on the Albanians. I don't want to see Macedonia becoming a testing ground for US missiles like Kosovo, Serbia and Fallujah.

I don't want to see another piece of the Balkans broken off and given to the local drug dealing, organ trading mafia.

Perhaps the calm before the storm, i think this is the straw that broke the camels back.. the Macedonians are fed up with these senseless murders, ladies are scared to take the bus on route via Albanian villages, children are scared to go to school, parents fear for there children.. this will get out of control, the only difference against kosovo 1999 and Macedonia 2001 is that this time, the Albanians have chosen to pick a fight with a people and not a government or its institutions.. its different when fighting people who are paid to fight as againts people who fight from the hear.. as expected, i always had a sneaking suspicion that the Albanins would eventually over play there cards..

Serbs and Macedonians as people ought to unite against this albanian aggression, not governments, but people. The governments are too tied up in their EU interests to give a damn about this. It is time to take up arms against the terrorist albanian population, drive them back over the border forever and never allow them to return to Orthodox Christian lands. I dont really get it though, the Macedonians have treated albanians considerably well considering the kind of people they are, but then again with albanians the more you give them the more they want, and they wont stop until they get it all. Bulgar of Ohrid, I do recognise the fact that some Christian Macedonians won't be happy with their government for recognising Kosovo and some won't care either way but I was actually speaking about your politicians mostly.
Unfortunately your politicians are the ones setting the stage and projecting your reputation. If they get away with it and nobody complains about their foreign policy then the rest of us must assume that the people are mostly in agreement. Just like in Serbia. The government is a total sellout and if they enjoy support of majority then we can safely assume that Serbs in Serbia don't really care much about Kosovo or any other policy which affects the population but only what's in it for them.

People have to rise up, they have to protest. They have to throw support behind smaller parties dedicated to a different policy. Until that happens they will not get much sympathy from people outside. I say the same thing about Serbia. If the same government wins again what are we to conclude than the foreign policy they are conducting is what people want?

Peggy in regards to MKD recognition of Kosovo, %100 of the Christians of Macedonia dont support the governments dillusional efforts to implement a brotherhood and unity type system hence recognising Kosovo as a part of the above process..

It could be that the Members of the Parliament in FYROM are thinking that if they might withdraw their support for Kosovo’s independence during the time of the Serbian Elections, because then any future trouble from the Albanians can be blamed entirely on the Albanians, because the Government of FYROM decided to obey International Law.

Perhaps FYROM will withdraw its support for the Kosovo Albanian cause of independence during the Election Campaign to help the West’s Puppets win the Elections, because Tadic and Company want to give away Kosovo to join the European Union.

In case they were Albanians, it will be hard to find them, because usually, their clans prefer to shelter and protect even criminals and murderers instead of being a 'traitor' and inform the police about criminal activities they are aware of or witnessed, like it's usual in democratic societies. As I could read some days ago here, some weirdos even consider it 'justice' to kill other innocent people as a revenge act.

One has to admire the restraint of the Christian Macedonian community, very different from the reaction of the Albanian community in Kosovo to an incident in 2004 which resulted in murder, beatings, ethnic cleansing and the burning of villages and holy sites.

Let's hope the restraint lasts when the suspects are revealed, and that the majority population make their feelings felt at the ballot box and not by following the example of 2004. Macedonia is after all one of the cradles of civilisation.

Tito made Macedonia a republic and made Kosovo & Vovodina provinces to get 3 votes on the side of Croatia & Slovenia. Making the vote 5 to 3 against Serbia. Slovenia , Croatia, Kosovo, Vovodina & Macedonia always voted against Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro. Now you have the reason why Tito had to make an artificial Macedonian state.

It seems to me that you're quite ignorant of the history in the area by trying to establish a connection between Fyrom and antiquity.Macedonians were a Hellenic tribe,spoke Greek and ancient Macedonia lies exclusively within the borders of modern Greece.

Fyrom's population was forced into an artificial ethnic Macedonian identity in communist Yugoslavia in post world war II period.Prior to that period they were self determined Bulgarians that spoke nothing than Bulgarian a language based on the literary tradition of Krchovski,Pejchinovich,Capenkov... all of whom insisted that their language and culture was Bulgarian.Yet proclaiming Bulgarian roots in Fyrom is the biggest taboo .

To accept the revisionist communist era history of the nationalists in Skopje would be to accept a crime against truth of Orwellian proportions.

Excuse me but there is no such thing as an ethnic Macedonian, ethnic Bulgarian Slav is what they should be called. Tito the communist leader of Yugoslavia for 40 years created the artificial ethnic group Macedonian so he could lay claim to Northern Greece and Western Bulgaria and by doing so he also neutralized Serbia's vote in Yugoslavia.
Tito made Macedonia a republic and made Kosovo & Vovodina provinces to get 3 votes on the side of Croatia & Slovenia. Making the vote 5 to 3 against Serbia. Slovenia , Croatia, Kosovo, Vovodina & Macedonia always voted against Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro. Now you have the reason why Tito had to make an artificial Macedonian state.

News reporters are inflaming violence by picking ethnic groups. All Macedonian citizens should be called Macedonian just like in America where everyone is called American first. If you wanna call both of them Macedonian-Bulgarian or Macedonian-Albanian then its ok but calling just one group ethnic Macedonian is 100% Wrong. There are criminals by citizens on both ethnic divides, just like the Macedonian-Bulgarian criminal that killed 2 Macedonian-Albanians over a parking Spot in Feb. 2012. In this instance we don't even know who did it but Macedonian-Bulgarians already stoning Macedonian-Albanian homes. If this was America do you think White Americans would go around stoning Black American homes everytime a Black American kills a White American??

Bulgar of Ohrid, I do recognise the fact that some Christian Macedonians won't be happy with their government for recognising Kosovo and some won't care either way but I was actually speaking about your politicians mostly.
Unfortunately your politicians are the ones setting the stage and projecting your reputation. If they get away with it and nobody complains about their foreign policy then the rest of us must assume that the people are mostly in agreement. Just like in Serbia. The government is a total sellout and if they enjoy support of majority then we can safely assume that Serbs in Serbia don't really care much about Kosovo or any other policy which affects the population but only what's in it for them.

People have to rise up, they have to protest. They have to throw support behind smaller parties dedicated to a different policy. Until that happens they will not get much sympathy from people outside. I say the same thing about Serbia. If the same government wins again what are we to conclude than the foreign policy they are conducting is what people want?

It's time to do the walk now.

Interesting how everything is hush hush when Albanians are suspected of murder and massacres. Just like their Croatian and Muslim friends, their murderers and genocidal terrorists walk free and get a pat on the back by their Western backers.

It seems to me that you're quite ignorant of the history in the area by trying to establish a connection between Fyrom and antiquity.Macedonians were a Hellenic tribe,spoke Greek and ancient Macedonia lies exclusively within the borders of modern Greece.

Fyrom's population was forced into an artificial ethnic Macedonian identity in communist Yugoslavia in post world war II period.Prior to that period they were self determined Bulgarians that spoke nothing than Bulgarian a language based on the literary tradition of Krchovski,Pejchinovich,Capenkov... all of whom insisted that their language and culture was Bulgarian.Yet proclaiming Bulgarian roots in Fyrom is the biggest taboo .

To accept the revisionist communist era history of the nationalists in Skopje would be to accept a crime against truth of Orwellian proportions.

One has to admire the restraint of the Christian Macedonian community, very different from the reaction of the Albanian community in Kosovo to an incident in 2004 which resulted in murder, beatings, ethnic cleansing and the burning of villages and holy sites.

Let's hope the restraint lasts when the suspects are revealed, and that the majority population make their feelings felt at the ballot box and not by following the example of 2004. Macedonia is after all one of the cradles of civilisation.

Albanians and Macedonians seem to be getting along just fine these days.

In case they were Albanians, it will be hard to find them, because usually, their clans prefer to shelter and protect even criminals and murderers instead of being a 'traitor' and inform the police about criminal activities they are aware of or witnessed, like it's usual in democratic societies. As I could read some days ago here, some weirdos even consider it 'justice' to kill other innocent people as a revenge act.

May their soul rest in peace! I hope police finds the responsibles of this horrible crime and gives them the right punishment. Let me start by stating my nationality MACEDONIAN!...
Next, no info has been found on the killers.
The killers could have been any nationality.
We must wait for a complete investigation.
I have nothing against Serbs,Bulgars,Greeks,Albos,Croats so on and so forth, but all Balkan countries are guilty of a sick nationalism that is easily exploited. None of us are all that different from each other when we sit at a table and talk. Something like this could spiral into a Balkan war very easily that would once again solve nothing, send all nations into a spiral that would see foreigner investment disappear.
Most of you are outside your home lands waving your flags saying lets kill them. What will happen to your family's and their quality of life, they will be 100 years behind yet again. Who ever the killers where of these fisherman in Macedonia and what ever ethnicity they need to be dealt with by the authorities in a civilized manner. Over half of the population of these lands is outside these lands because of numerous wars of nationalism and terrible economy because the region is unstable, few company's want to invest. The hot blooded people of the Balkans needs to start talking the western approach. Dont let whole countries suffer because of a few. Balkan people are smarter than that.
