(Ratko, 28 March 2012 17:49)

Ratko,

This has nothing to do with current discussion.

However if must know, my ancestors didn't steal this land, it was given to them in the 12th century by Royal family of Kingdom of Serbia, even though they were leaving and working this land before that. Sultan Bajazit nationalized the land in 15th century, but my ancestors were allowed to live and work on the land, as long as they payed the taxes, and I come from the ones who stayed there generation after generation all way to 20th century, Ottoman empire went but in 1922 the government of Serb-Croation and Slovenes, took by force some land and gave it to a Serb family which came from Montenegro, during the colonization period. My grand-dad bought it back though in 1950 from them, I far as I know they moved to Belgrade.

Ratko, does this answer your question?

You have in Belgrade hundreds of Albanians owing bakery shops, coffee shops but mostly jewellery shops; do you think this people stole this places, or work hard and pay taxes where they live there.

You can steal a car, a fridge, money, but you never ever can steal a land from no one.

My family has seen a lots of governments change, even in my life time, several governments have changed, and we will see some more change, the world has changed and it will change, but in this corner we are still around and if that bothers you, tough luck, live it.

And for those of you Kosovar-Albanians who would like to dismiss the organ trafficking as “Serb propaganda” the accusations are very real. Carla del Ponte from the Hague, who hated Milosevic as much as any Albanian, even wrote a whole book about Tachi and his organ stealing criminals. Even recipients of the organs are starting to come forward and testify. The EU just arrested seven Kosovar-Albanians and Israelis who were stealing organs from Serbs and other Slavs kidnapped by your people. And who said Jews and Muslims can’t work together, as long as there is a buck to be made of the suffering of others.

Yes Kosovo is a real land of law and justice. With a murder rate on par with Cambodia, organized crime intermingled with political leaders and a drug trafficking system of pushing heroin rivaled only by places like Colombia it is good to see these brave Albanian police men step up and arrest Serbs for being Serbs who work at Serb institutions in Kosovo which is still technically a Serbia province.

Oh did I forget to mention the human organ trafficking accusations of their Prime Minister Tachi.

ecoman: "Since when is it illegal to work for Serbian institutions in KiM?
As an American, I can work for the institution of any country I chose to, it's called democracy."

Is this your idea of commedy, or something? Even as an American, you can not work for the American government in any other country, unless such work is approved by the host country (via diplomatic credentials or whatever). Otherwise your work would be called espionage and you'd be put in jail, or deported. In pretty much every country of the world.

If you're an American that wants to work for the government of Serbia, in Serbia, go right ahead. If you work for the government of Serbia in Romania, without Romania's permission or knowledge, if caught, you'd be arrested. Believe me you won't even need a pop-up book to understand the situation.

Ari Gold,

Kosovo police exist, always have, and it is very real. Maybe you should come over to Kosovo and try to commit a crime and if you're lucky you will meet them.

Kosovo, from early 1990 is been having two parallel systems going on.

Time's up, you have your country we have ours, stop interfering on our internal affairs, we are not interfering on yours. This people coming and going are clearly agents of Serbia, and they need to be stopped.

Take your nationalism to better you own country, sort out unemployment, rotted infrastructure etc, we are not a second class citizens to you or anyone.

Kosovo police is a joke. If they cared so much about laws then they should really investigate real crime committed against innocent people. But the truth is they could not do the right thing if it hit them in the face. Everyone knows they are joke! And as for all these trolls who are in denial about organ trafficking, please open your eye there would be no investigation unless they have information that this really did happen. Nikolle, you seem to be a level headed person, but you lose that balance and go myopic when the Kosovo status issue comes up. The Kosovo* status issue is not resolved, if it was there would be no asterisk after its name. We can go back and forth on this site ad nauseam about Kosovo's status, some say yes, some say no, but until it is agreed upon by all sides, there will be conflict. How can you expect Kosovo's* laws to be respected by people that do not consider you an independent state? And no, these people should not have been arrested. They are going about their lives as they always have - they do not recognize Pristina's authority, and why should they be forced to?
(ecoman, 28 March 2012 11:40)
Let me answer that for Nikolle. It matters not whether you want to consider Kosovo an indpendent country, an autonomous province of Serbia, or a protectorate under Resolution 1244. In all three situations it up to the democratically elected authorities to enact the laws governing Kosovo, and in each case activity of Serbian authorities to undermine that would be considered illegal.
An autonomous province would mean that they have the authority to enact their own laws without interference from Belgrade.
That is why independence is the only viable option. You and the other Serbs only want Kosovo under FULL control of Serbia. The more than autonomy and less than independence is a sham and would never be honored by Serbia, they cannot honor the rules under 1244.

Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi has refused to comment on the arrests.

“I am not ready to make a comment,” he told Tanjug.

TRANSLATION: "We haven't come up with a reason for their arrest beyond the fact they're Serbs. We'll concoct something in the next 24 - 48 hours around something related to 'law and order' or 'constitutional security' or whatever whatever".

Sorry, New Day, but you cannot govern what is not yours. There was never agreement made between Belgrade and Pristina on Kosovo's status. Kosovo Albanians proclaimed an UDI, and Serbia did not recognize it. So where does that give Pristina authority to govern, especially in Serbian dominated areas of KiM? What am I missing in your reasoning, and you in mine?

Your lot goes on the killing spree of witnesses and prosecutors and you still keep repeating the same old dribble "show me evidence".
Wow, your lot is making sure that there is no evidence safely given by murdering anyone willing to show some.
Even with all this murder and intimidation, the evidence will be shown in good time so all you have to do is be patient.

89 UN members have not recognized Serbia in its "constitutional"* borders. Does this mean that the inhabitants of these states can do in Serbia whatever they want to?

Yes Kosovo is a real land of law and justice. With a murder rate on par with Cambodia, organized crime intermingled with political leaders and a drug trafficking system of pushing heroin rivaled only by places like Colombia it is good to see these brave Albanian police men step up and arrest Serbs for being Serbs who work at Serb institutions in Kosovo which is still technically a Serbia province.

Oh did I forget to mention the human organ trafficking accusations of their Prime Minister Tachi.

“An excuse for the arrest and detention of the four Serbs is that a voters list was allegedly found on them and that they work for Serbian institutions,” the ministry stressed in a release. Since when is it illegal to work for Serbian institutions in KiM? As an American, I can work for the institution of any country I chose to, it's called democracy. Do the Albanians want to live in a free society, or a totalitarian regime? I think Thaci didn't understand the definition of democracy on Albanian Google - maybe a picture, pop-up book would help?

From which Serb did you steal the land that you now farm on?
