This hypocrite hid in the bushes during the whole war, hoping that the bombing would help dislodge President Milosevic from power. But no, in the end, it had to be a coup d'etat also paid for by Tadic's US masters. If there is anyone in Serbia who still believes anything this puppet "president" says, I'd like to meet them.

I see you have been doing your homework searching the Serbian prop sites or as I like to refer to them the "there has to be some reason why they bombed us other than we deserved it sites"
As is referenced about the size of bondsteel, you can find it many places and it is not refuteable however what you don't find is most of the land is undeveloped. The base does not even have a landing strip that will accomodate planes, a heliport only. The housing is the asian huts that are non permanent buildings. The roads were eventually paved after much debate because it was costing too much to regravel them.
As for the mines, if this were truly a reason I ask you this. Why was the north ignored for 12 years. That would have been one of the first areas for Kfor to bring under control inorder to secure those mines. That area was pretty much just ignored, I oculd see maybe one year maybe 2 but for 12 years the international community has done nothing to secure the area around those mines. It is now going to take major, major investment up front before those mines are ever profitable.
Now the KLA, During the 80's and early 90's the only information coming out of the tightly communist country of Yugoslavia was through the government, it was known that an organization called KLA was causing problems. It was not until the incidents taking place in Bosnia that the US and west started getting a true picture of what was happening in SRY. Now if you are supporting the govt of Yugoslavia which the west was before Milosevic you see the KLA as a terriorist organization, if you take the side that Milosevic was running an oppressive regime then those opposing him would be opposition fighters.
Back to Bondsteel, with Serbia in the middle of NATO and NATO friendly countries would it not be easier to build a base in Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, etc, etc, a lot cheaper and less trouble than starting a war.

Of the total deaths + forcibly disappeared (9401), the vast majority were Albanian civilians killed by VJ/MUP - 6200+. In addition, 1125 KLA members died.
These are Serbian, if not Serbian government, figures.
I remember when this all started based on a complete fabrication of a Racak 'massacre', and I remember when albanians cheered as Kosovo was being bombed. The Serbian people need to focus past the "smoke and mirrors" put up by the DS and realize who their enemies really are- and what the ultimate goal of our enemies is- to conquer, divide, and subjugate the Serbian nation into economic serfdom. Serbia has a choice now come the elections- a short window of opportunity to say NO to Tadic and his foreign influences. I see you have been doing your homework searching the Serbian prop sites or as I like to refer to them the "there has to be some reason why they bombed us other than we deserved it sites"
As is referenced about the size of bondsteel, you can find it many places and it is not refuteable however what you don't find is most of the land is undeveloped. The base does not even have a landing strip that will accomodate planes, a heliport only. The housing is the asian huts that are non permanent buildings. The roads were eventually paved after much debate because it was costing too much to regravel them.
As for the mines, if this were truly a reason I ask you this. Why was the north ignored for 12 years. That would have been one of the first areas for Kfor to bring under control inorder to secure those mines. That area was pretty much just ignored, I oculd see maybe one year maybe 2 but for 12 years the international community has done nothing to secure the area around those mines. It is now going to take major, major investment up front before those mines are ever profitable.
Now the KLA, During the 80's and early 90's the only information coming out of the tightly communist country of Yugoslavia was through the government, it was known that an organization called KLA was causing problems. It was not until the incidents taking place in Bosnia that the US and west started getting a true picture of what was happening in SRY. Now if you are supporting the govt of Yugoslavia which the west was before Milosevic you see the KLA as a terriorist organization, if you take the side that Milosevic was running an oppressive regime then those opposing him would be opposition fighters.
Back to Bondsteel, with Serbia in the middle of NATO and NATO friendly countries would it not be easier to build a base in Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, etc, etc, a lot cheaper and less trouble than starting a war.

SCP UK, you are correct. Serbia should never join this organization NATO, which in reality is America's war machine. Serbia should also strongly consider whether it wants to be in a political/economic Union with countries that supported the bombing. My vote goes to Mr. Kostunica, who makes the most sense in what is correct for Serbia.

It was NATO, which is the military arm of the European Union and the US. - in Kosovo - 46 non-Albanian civilians + 488 VJ/MUP
Of the total deaths + forcibly disappeared (9401), the vast majority were Albanian civilians killed by VJ/MUP - 6200+. In addition, 1125 KLA members died.
These are Serbian, if not Serbian government, figures.
It's funny how if any other country does a bombing, and im not just saying Serbia, but any other country bombs another country, then those leaders face genocide charges, war criminal charges etc. IF NATO bombs another country (i.e Serbia) kills thousands, women and children and the elderly, they destroy homes, apartment blocks and businesses, then they can get away with it by saying "missile malfunction." - oh ok missile malfunction ok so it was an accident OOPSY DAISY lets forget it then.
America is just as evil as albanians. america has a history of sticking its nose in everywhere and gettin it smashed in. End of the day, All that matters is that these innocents are rememebered by the Serbs regardless of what these albanian trolls say. It's important not to just remember the Serbs killed in NATO bombings but remember all the innocents killed around the world by americans and pray that one day justice will be served to them.
This hypocrite hid in the bushes during the whole war, hoping that the bombing would help dislodge President Milosevic from power. But no, in the end, it had to be a coup d'etat also paid for by Tadic's US masters. If there is anyone in Serbia who still believes anything this puppet "president" says, I'd like to meet them.

Yes you're a real joker! and yet an a...e! Germany wanted and still wants others land, Serbia tried to protect what belongs to her. It was really a "drawn to war". Germany wanted and the americans too- to dismember one of the strongest army in western Europe. Like hyenas are opportunists, in same way they acted when Russia was at it's weekest period living the serbs at the mercy of NATO. As Bosnian war was fueled by germans and americans, same thing happened again by falsifying the killing of KLA terrorist as civilians(germans again). Before you make stupid statements make a research, study the facts, ask why suddenly the terrorist became freedom fighters, what interests and whose interests are at stake. A lot of people here are talking about Albanian conspiracies and whatnot that started the Kosovo War. The KLA was listed as a terrorist organization until 1998 by the US. It is US interests in fragmenting and weakening Balkan states that drove the war. Bondsteel is the second largest US base outside of Germany and Trepca is multi billion dollar real estate. The SRJ was attacked to open its markets and land to exploitation. Stopping the "ethnic cleansing," was just a side show much like how the American Civil War its remembered for being about slavery instead of the Union losing the massive cotton industry and fear of industrialization of the south.Follow the money, not the rhetoric and you will see that petty ethnic divisions are used to keep the people distracted while billions are siphoned away to Germany and America.

ALEKSINAC -- Serbian President Boris Tadić said Saturday that the NATO attack on Yugoslavia was a crime against a country and people.
“Preserving the memory of the innocent victims, everything must be done to make sure that Serbia will never again be drawn into a war,” he said.
“Our country has been too immersed in wars in the entire 20th century and everything we will do in the future should be based on preventing any involvement in any kind of war ever again and on protecting, above all, human lives and the country,” Tadić told reporters after laying a wreath at the monument to victims killed in the NATO attack on Aleksinac.
“Serbia will always commemorate the anniversary of the beginning of NATO air strikes by remembering the victims, but also by expressing confidence that the state can stand on its own feet,” he pointed out.
The president laid a wreath at the monument at a ceremony of mourning the victims of the 1999 NATO bombing of Aleksinac, a town in southeast Serbia which suffered one of the most brutal NATO attacks during the 11-week air campaign against the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SRJ) 13 years ago.

If Nato attack against Yugoslavia was a crime because Yugoslavia was dragged by Nato into that War,
how was to prevent been dragged into war and standing on its own feet ?
Mr Bosnic, as a journalist, I do not find you very objective. Mr Tadic knows that the only way to reunite his nation with the EU is to cooperate with occicendale nations. Do you have another suggestion?
