This is not news worthy. Croats would pick Assad from Syria over Vuk for presiding over the UNGA. It's just the love as usual they have for their Balkan neighbors on display.

Is this guy even qualified for such a prestige position. He can't even handle the Kosovo situation. Why on earth Jeremic would even consider such a role is beyond me..Serbia's neighbours would never support such a move.

After Serbia has shown its neighbours in the 1990s how much it loves them, you shouldn't be suprised.

There is no chance of Jeremic being elected for the UN GA. He's as unpopular with foreign ministries as he is within the Democratic Party.

The only jobs he's going to get after being FM are in Serbian tennis or some kind of bizness "consultancy" with Russian company,

LOL that's the stupidest excuse I've heard. At least the HDZeros would have manned up and gave some story about the 1990s or something as reason for not voting for him - an equally stupid excuse, but far more believable :)
