Is this really a news worthy story? Some fool climbed on a building and took down a flag. Whether it was Albanian or Serbian its a petty crime. Sure, its a petty crime, but it doesn't justify remaining in custody for 8 days! Classic Serbian oppression. The punishment does not fit the crime as usual.

I am not biased towards Albanians, Serbs deserve them big time. Pretty similar in mentality, hard headed, short sighted. Oh, just like your comment Radek...
(Hruz, 1 December 2011 09:02)

This is not easy to dispute. However you should mention, Hungarians are not universally loved by all their neighbirs... and the undisputed world champions if it is about "victim mentality".

I am not a great pro-Albanian champion, but in person I got far more disturbing encounters with Hungarians lately than with anyone else, combined. That involves usually activities regarded as more-less criminal in any other country (cheating, scam, etc) but pretty common here. As for political life... just say "A Nemzet Orbánca", that's good enough. Maybe their desperation is the background, but lately I am not enjoying the people of BP at all.

At least, so far not a single Albanian did punch my nose for driving slow, that happened with me 2007 in Kékgolyó utca of BP. And the behavior on the freeways I can describe here only as "road rage" or "feeway hooliganism". It looks, like police does not care less.

I just give you a link for external use.

I clarify you that in Vilayet was included not only today Kosova but part of today Serbia and Macedonia where live Slavic people that you will find in official data there. So you understand that today Kosova was 90% Albanian at that time.

This guy is hungarian and knowing that among 10 countries which joined EU in 2004 Hungary is by far the biggest loser
(radek, 30 November 2011 19:18)

Yeah, he is. Hungarian from Kosovo, actually as far as I know. Being Hungarian does not mean much. For instance I am - but from two other countries. Size maybe does matter, each of these countries has the power to annihilate the entitre Solar System. One begins with the letter "U", the other with the letter "R".

So what, I am fine with that, as long as the Solar System is in one piece and I am let in peace, I am OK.

But unlike Hruz I do not enjoy the sight of Orbángutang... if I wake up on a day with my American or Russian feet first, Orbángutang looks like a pathetic loser and the entire Hungary like a heap with many ants running around. To understand that does not hurt to spend a few (or many) years in countries where you need at least four days to cross by car. Or a week. Than it looks different. Do you speak in the family Hungarian or not is a different story.

And by the way: while Budapestians are probably the meanest people on the planet Earth... just travel 10 km and get a very different experience. ;)

Every time I have to visit BP my stomach is upside down. But not here where I am. To bad, MO has a huge head and that head sux horribly. The solution: either say good-bye to Hungary or move outside of Budapest. That city is insane.

Wasn't there a nice story on B92 a year or so ago about how both Serbs and Albanians in Preševo were celebrating the 28th of November (ethnic Albanian holiday) last year? Shame how things can turn ugly unnecessarily, though considering that Albanians love their alcohol as much as us Serbs, I wouldn't be surprised if these weren't his "true" intentions. ;)

Easy solution to this issue. Fitim should MOVE to Albania. When he choses to stay in Serbia he should thank god that he doesn't live in Albania.

It was a honest mistake he thought the Russians hoisted their flag over Serbia already they look so very similar. Fitim was just protecting Serbian honour with the Russian buying everything dirt cheap and the Russians announcing they being better Serbs then Serbs themselves. You know how it all gets confusing after a while Russian Serbian which is which or is their a diffrence.

I give you two information.
1.Extremist are all the same, regardless are Christian or Muslim or whatever.
2.Do you know why we call it “flag day”, because we Albanian of Republic of Albania don’t want to call it “Independence Day” since 1912 where Kosova and other land of Albanians were not independent? Today we are near our goal that all Albanians in Balkan live free and with their identity in their homes.

@ Steve -If this guy hates Serbia then he can leave it. Just like those in Kosovo. You hate Serbia, leave the Serbian province. That simple.

That's what we Croats were saying in 1991 in regards to your beloved Krajinian Serbs..If you don't like Tudjman's policies- Go back to Beograd. We don't need you nor do we want you.

If Serbia should dream on about accession to the EU what could be said about "the pride of Europe" Albania? The EU has forgotten about you. Then again, who can blame them. Albania is the country that God has forgotten.

An ethnic Albanian is ripping a Serbian flag? An Albanian, who see themselves as (young) Europeans and not as Muslim extremists from middle east? Forget about it - such behavior doesn't suit European standards.

I guess he can be nominated for the tool of the year.

KosovaUSA seems to think a flag is only a 'piece of cloth' And nothing to get too excited about. This from a nation fixated by their own national emblem. There isn't an Albanian alive who doesn't drool at the mere sight of a black bird on a red cloth. Come now Mr USA, if somebody tore your beloved flag down and shredded it, you'd probably reach for the Kalashnikov.

No? E.g.: In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that officially established June 14 as Flag Day; in August 1949, National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress.
Want more? February 15 was declared National Flag of Canada Day in 1996.

This guy is hungarian and knowing that among 10 countries which joined EU in 2004 Hungary is by far the biggest loser his attitude towards EU is quite strange.I often speak to hungarians in pubs here in Prague. They are very melancolic and all complain about EU.No wonder they are leading nation regarding suicides. All time losers with heavy inferiority complex. It is always funny to read this .Poor guy still thinks that if somebody is not in EU the one is not european.Typical narrow minded Yurta mentality. In fact there is hardly anything more anti-european than the EU itself. But do not expect a magyar with slovakian name to understand it.

Wasn't there a nice story on B92 a year or so ago about how both Serbs and Albanians in Preševo were celebrating the 28th of November (ethnic Albanian holiday) last year? Shame how things can turn ugly unnecessarily, though considering that Albanians love their alcohol as much as us Serbs, I wouldn't be surprised if these weren't his "true" intentions. ;)

I always feel like laughing when some outsiders let us say mongols try to decide what is european and what not.It is as if a butcher tried to decide who should play for the football national team.Otherwise in most european countries at least those who still have pride such acts are taken quite seriously.Once again the stress is on the words pride and dignity. All we know there is an artificial nation which has nothing to do with these two words.A nation which was Hitler's last shoepolisher and most cruel butcher,a nation which just some years later with their leader Rakosi Stalin's best student was the most hard line communist in the world, people who are currently NATO's most eager canon foders(and a century ago played a very similar role in Habsburg army).Everybody's doormat and eternal winbags.Even in 1968 when they entered Czechoslovakia
at the first call from soviets as opposed to many other warsaw packt counties they behaved much more cruely than even the soviets themselves.
That is the reason why on 4th of june every sound and jusice loving person in Carpatian basin and around opens a bottle of wine and celebrates the day when beast was hit.Cheers.And tell your PM to behave finally like a European and create european laws with that 2 thirds in that Yurta council because for the time being according to most european political experts he behaves with his buddies as if they were somewhere in norther Pakistan or the Gobbi desert.(looking at your PMs photo it is even not so strange)

I clarify you that in Vilayet was included not only today Kosova but part of today Serbia and Macedonia where live Slavic people that you will find in official data there. So you understand that today Kosova was 90% Albanian at that time.
