“Serbia shouldn’t weaken relations with Russia”

Few days ago was Rogozin, now is Konuzin. Threat after threat from these two clowns.

Konuzin is convinced that Serbia would have more to lose than to gain if its relations with Russia became weaker.

If you want my opinion, Russia lost Serbia when it allowed UN sanctions during the 90s, which were lifted only when the West had installed its people and started pulling the strings.

If Russia wants Serbia back it has to work much harder and give back to us a lot of what we lost at its own cost. It really has no choice. The quicker the better for all.

In the mean time, Serbia should develop stronger ties with China instead of the US.

For me this is plain stupid I mean what? Learn my language or else!!! People should be free to learn whatever language they want Mr Ambassador, plus let Serbian decide for themselfs which way they want to go. Very funny this guy I think.

This interview can only mean that Serbia will get its EU candidate status talks.

To weaken relations with mother Russia would is a betrayal. Moving closer to Germany and the UK would be like sleeping with the devil.

Don't cry Konuzin Russia still has couple friends North Korea ,Syria ,Cuba Libya scratch that one and Iran. Just make a oblast for Serbia in Siberia then again they will say Siberia is Serbia just because it sounds similar it don't take much for them to covet 1.

I think most didn't get the message here. The west is only interested in investing in Serbia because of Serbia's privileged access to the huge Russian market, and soon the Chinese as well. So Serbia has a lot to lose if she doesn't play it right.

Might be an idea to state exactly what Serbia would have to loose by weakening ties with Russia.

Russia hasn't done sh*** for Serbia.

Is he talking here about the EU, or China? Serbia publicly promised never to go against China's wishes at the UN or any other international forum, and is going to start teaching Chinese in at least one high-school. Governments change, of course, and never is a really long time, so maybe he shouldn't be so worried.

In a great part of Europe we have learned how dangerous it is, when the religion define the state policy up to extreme nationalism; or in this case pan-slavism? Many of the monks in the SPC will be at your side as recent history has shown us. It has led to this Balkan disaster where we still can observe the negative results. This poem that harness God before the Serbian carriage makes me worry about the Serbian honest souls. Will they really be misled by the words of it??

Russian Foreign Ministry should really send another person to Serbia as ambassador. One who does not damage the relations between Serbia and Russia with what he/she says. Serbia deserves a better Russian ambassador. This person should retire, enjoy the last years with his grandchildren on the Volga shores, tell them stories about the past, teach them about the evil greedy West etc etc etc.
