Ex-Guantanamo inmate is Libyan rebel leader

A U.S. diplomatic cable published by WikiLeaks reveals that a man previously detained by Americans at Guantanamo is now a senior figure among the Libyan rebels.

This is what is most feared by the US. Osama’s people are now entrenched with the Libyan rebels and the US is now helping that group overthrow the Colonel.

If needs be, the british government could always give him asylum. They like thieves & murderers who have money, but more importantly call themselves 'democrats'.

The Telegraph adds that Qumu was also jailed in Libya for ten years "for murder, physical assault, armed assault and distributing narcotics”.
