I would hazard a guess and say the Russians are losing plenty of sleep over being criticized by the leaders in the field of rule of law.

Since these same countries installed a group of thieving ghouls in power in kosovo with their HATO military, their sense of justice belongs in an insane asylum. A former president lied under oath in court and was not removed from office whereas any other us citizen would have been thrown in jail for doing the same thing. america does not know justice and has no credibility in criticizing other countries - their words are worth nothing more than the ramblings of a crazy street bum.

Another cheap political move.

And Great Britain Foreign Secretary William Hague said he was deeply concerned and urged Russia "to respect the principles of justice and apply the rule of law in a non-discriminatory and proportional way".

You can't blame these people for attacking Russia by unfairly criticizing her judicial system. What better way to take media attention away from the heated Locerbie bomber scandal, and at the same time continue to amaze the world with their never-ending hypocrisy.

"Criticized what?

Simply read:
"And Great Britain Foreign Secretary William Hague said he was deeply concerned and urged Russia "to respect the principles of justice and apply the rule of law in a non-discriminatory and proportional way"."

Simple: Selective justice has been critized: That the rule of law only applies to certain persons who dared to oppose Putin, while many other oligarchs who did exactly the same (maybe even worse) can still do their 'business' nowadays and increase their billions, with the blessing of the Russian government.

Criticized what? They should hand over that other one, Berezovski. Khodorkovski is lucky RUS doesn't have the death penalty because he plunged and kept 80 000 000 ethnic Russians in near-3rd World poverty for a whole decade
