How do you know it was not the Yankees who failed to continue to bribe the BBC (because they are up to their necks in debts [link]/) and so that's why the BBC are no longer lying for them anymore? Isn't this possible too?
(lowe, 15 December 2010 13:53)

Simple, because (as usual) you did not provide any proof for either:

1. You did not provide proof that the Yankees bribed BBC;

2. You did not provide proof that the Yankees are up to their necks in debt

There are 2 main differences.
1) These crimes thaci is accused go to another level of revolt. Truly mengele like.
2) Serbia has paid the price for any crimes and more. Swingeing sanctions, bombing, demonisation, ethnic cleansing. The others have not, but will.
(Zeka, 16 December 2010 13:43)

And if Thaci is/was a thug, he is indeed one of Serbian making. Albanians did not use violence or force for 10 yrs under Rugova until the Serbian knife hit their bone and the repression became unbearable. Albanians, and the others too, learned how cruelty works, from you, the Serbs. I don't care for Thaci to tell you the truth, I never believed he was fit for a leader of peace time, and if he has done such things of course he should burn in hell.

But blaming Thaci does not put you in a better position to take Kosovo back. Independence of Kosovo has nothing to do with Thaci and everything to do with K-Alb who have wanted to get out of Serbian boot and repression for now 100 yrs. We are willing to suffer whatever price is there, to stay independent and out of Serbia's control....

"From my region (Gjakova) there are more than 500 missing persons since Kosova war."

(Agim, 15 December 2010 23:15)

It's very interesting number, becouse according Red Cross is 1839 missing persons from ALL Kosovo (including hundreds of Serbs, Roma etc.!!).
So - Your number (500 from Đakovica only) - is nothing but propaganda. Or maybe, this number include Serbian refugees, who can't go back to their homes in Kosovo, but in Your pseudogovernment documents - they are "missing persons".

You know what's scary? Not one Serb leader took it upon himself to urgently request a UN meeting. Two days have already passed and not one word has been said on this. Not one Russian leader took it upon himself to request an urgent UNSC meeting on this. Kosunica, Jeremic, Tadic, Nikolic have all been awfully quiet. Ivanovic and Bogdanovic have been scarily silent on this. None of them have requested concrete urgent actions. Notice their complacency on inaction. This seems very coordinated especially since they're used to throw words such as pyromanics and terrorist when nothing is going on. They're being eerily silent when something of this magnitude has happened. 2 days have already passed. This silence is quite scary. But they all b..tch and moan for months all over the world for a telephone line. There is something that is quite strange in all of this. Notice the lack of actions from those who are making the allegations. None of them show any urgency or forcefulness in requesting concrete actions through international investigative bodies. Notice the reluctance and quite frankly the will to no be urgent and forceful in requesting an international investigation through proper international channels; but rather choose to be inactive and silent. Something seems to be going behind closed doors. The Serbs are being unusually quiet and keeping silent, especially when considering the phone issues, while the Russians are uncharacteristically passive. The West is calling for proofs. Something seem not to be right. This is not normal behavior from the Serbs or the Ruskies. What is it this time that is making them remain quiet and inactive over an issue which you would thing a little action would give them a lot of moral and political arsenal? Why are they uncharacteristically not taking advantage of this?

So please keep thinking and try to analyze the whole situation and than you will see what game serbia is playing. Don't forget the true facts since no report can change them.

(Agim, 15 December 2010)

Agim, I'm Albanian too, from Tirana, and I believe that while Serbia may be "playing a game" (don't we all?) these allegations are very serious and should be investigated fully. Haradinaj went to the Hague on his own to clear his name. Thaci should do the same and he would have done so already if he was sure of his innocence.

If you keep equating Thaci's fate with that of Kosova and its 2 million Albanians you are doing a great disservice to our cause.

Kosova should move past this leadership. It's time for a new leadership whose reputation is not tainted by vile allegations. Thaci must go and the sooner he does the better it is for us all.

Team Albania (and a couple of the dimmer Serbs, to be fair) are demonstrating a distressingly primitive mindset: someone says something with which you disagree, therefore your enemy must have bribed them. Maybe it works like that in Kosovo, but the rest of the world is a rather more complicated place
(Dave, 15 December 2010 15:34)
===========================

No Dave. The rest of the world works exactly the same way.
Money talks all over the world. How do you think Biden was won over?
How do you think Albright decided to insist on air strikes on Serbia?
What do you think motivated Bill Clinton and now his wife?
Money, greed and the need to detract anything negative from themselves.
It's the same all over the world.

Serbian crimes were very much inflamed and even made up while Albanian crimes were covered up.
So, please don't say we are similar. Sure, Serbs committed crimes but nothing like this and certainly not all the crimes they were accused of.

“Organ trade report "great victory for Serbia"

I don’t think that writing and publishing a report really constitutes a victory on anything. You could claim a victory only when the allegations raised in the report were proven and factual, otherwise the report itself is no more nor less similar to other reports written on the issue earlier. If those allegations remain as such, without any concrete prove, then both Serbia and Dick Marty and subsequently the Council of Europe should be held accountable and sued of defamations.

jesse

Now there are a few things here that are quite odd.Johny

Your comment makes a lot of sense. For those that have known Marty's past this report is not total surprise. Unable to come up with any evidence that has any credibility in court of low he exhales his extreme hatred toward Kosovo's leadership to cause as much PR damage as he can. Any low expert knows that his report has more holes than Swiss cheese. It will evaporate sooner faster than a mountain dew.He will be left without any credibility and hopefully sued in court of low.

Ok one thing i don't understand a lot of you are jumping so fast. this all is written only in the peace of paper for now, I do understand a frustration from Serbian side but one thing being accused and being guilty are two different cases and this kind of cases are not gonna investigate somewhere where technology doesn't exist, UN or EU they have a lots of toy's to make it work and I'm very confident they will find the truth if such thing really happen or not, but if yes you are dumbed but if a person is wrong for making this kind of serious allegation in EU or north America you will be suit and be broke monetary or having a taste of the meal in the jail that's all i know... here in the west this way works even if you are a politician same will apply same.....

Agim

Hi Adrian Berisha,

Here is Mother Teresa. Really a good joke your posting .. Maybe you are right, that Thaci is hated by Kosovans, but this report is nothing but propaganda and it damages in first line Kosova and not Thaci. The rumors about organ trafficking are already known but the point of this report in this crucial moment for Kosova is to distract the attention of serbian crimes. From my region (Gjakova) there are more than 500 missing persons since Kosova war. Now serbs are trying to change the roles and do so as they were the victims.. Maybe it would be interesting to know the number of albanian victims and the number of serb victims in order to make clear who is really the victim and who was the agressor.. Not to forget the number of refugees

So please keep thinking and try to analyze the whole situation and than you will see what game serbia is playing. Don't forget the true facts since no report can change them.

Hello. I am an Albanian from Kosovo and I want to congratulate Serbia on this victory of the organ trafficking. I am happy to see this Hashim Thaci going down ! I pray that EU and whoever arrests this corrupt idiot and punishes him for his life. He has done nothing good for Kosovo and is hated by most Kosovans its strange how he won 33% in Elections. Thank you Serbia for pushing this not only are you happy but so are most Kosovo people he will hopefully go to jail and suffer.

Thank you

pre 13 godina

Now there are a few things here that are quite odd.

1. Nobody has ever, and I mean ever presented any proof about this. Be it Del Ponte, Marti, The Serbian side, or even previous international investigations. As we all know there have indeed been previous international investigation before. Up until now this has not passed the level of rumors and hearsay. Somehow it seems someone profits more from rumors than an actual investigation that brings truth to light.

2. That becomes more convincing when we consider that for the last two years since these rumors have started neither the President of Serbia nor its Foreign Minister have requested a thorough international investigation in the UNSC meetings on Kosova;an investigation from international investigative bodies. This is quite odd when one considers that they've been screaming for such investigations in UNSC meetings about a few cut phone lines; yet they've never attempted to request an investigation in these meetings about organ trafficking. It is quite strange that phone lines take priority over organ trafficking in the Serb foreign affairs agenda. It seems that a phone line holds more importance than a human organ in the Serb foreign agenda. At least it has had more importance from 1999 to now; when talks are about to be launched. Either that or the state of Serbia is not actually interested in a thorough international investigation on this issue; that has the seal of approval from the UNSC and which might actually bring an end once and for all to these rumors.

3. The timing is very interesting. The day after Thaci wins majority of the popular vote. A few weeks before the talks. On the day that Jeremic leaves for Russia. This might be a total speculation but it seems that the Russian directive to Serbia and through Marty is to weaken the position of the West, and Kosova in these talks through such allegations but also cause an institutional crisis in Kosova which would weaken the position of Kosova as an entity but which also might eventually lead to unrest. A situation that may suit Serbia very well, hoping at the very least for a formal partition of Kosova. This may actually backfire and cause the West and Kosova to coordinate with each other in a tighter fashion and cause the actual Kosova population to gather and support their institutions against moves perceived to be launched by Moscow. We'll see how it will work.

4. It is very odd and quite interesting that more than 24 hours have passed after this news and it seems that neither the President nor the Foreign Minister of Serbia have asked for a thorough international investigation. It is quite strange indeed. It seems as if they're more interested in rumors than an actual investigation that goes to the bottom of this. They seem to always shy away from requesting an international investigation and avoid asking for such an investigation. It seems quite odd that Serbia would request an urgent UNSC meeting over a hand grenade thrown from unknown people in a crowd demonstrating in a Serb town, yet refuse to call for such an urgent meeting for the last two years even though it maintains it has ultimate proof over organ trafficking. It still refuses to call for such an urgent meeting even 24 hours after Marty's report details cam to light. This is a very strange position from the Serb state. One that seems to avoid the ultimate truth through and actual international investigation and rather prefers and puts more value on rumors and allegations. One has to question the true intentions of such attitude from the Serb government.

5. Seeing that Moscow is hell bent on ending Hague's mandate on the Balkans, these allegations may be very instrumental to Moscow. Claiming that Hague prosecutors did not do their job hence Hague's mandate should end. An end of Hague's mandate also suits Serbia very well, since without Hague, there will be no cooperation with Hague condition in order to join the EU.

Having said all that; as an Albanian I am hoping for an international investigation, through international investigative bodies and that has the seal of approval of the UN; lead by professionals and not politicians like Marty and where no Serb or Albanian has a role. This seems to be obviously what the Serb government wants to avoid. Otherwise it current attitude and reluctance to ask for what I and many Albanians are asking is very odd; leaving ample room to question their intentions.

The report makes for great, sensational headlines, but there seems to be a lot of inference involved, especially about the relation between what happened or may have happened in 1999 and the recent organ sales. Maybe Marti has evidence, but we haven't seen it yet.

Amer - pay attention that both Kiza and Blerimi did receive five negatives. As long as these five negatives are out there - there are five potential perpetrators out there. All you need is little more than dozen criminals with some good connections out of a million or two K-Albanians.

You know - I am pretty sure that even out of one million Serbs or Russians you can find 10 or 20 criminals capable of going this to their own. Go to any place called "correction facility" in these countries. Just few days ago we had in Hungary a verdict against someone who assisted in predetermined, intentional killing of eight people at a bank during a robbery. He got 15 years. I am sure, he would do the "yellow house" experiment even on his kids.

I do not understand these gazillion of comments.
All this a no-brainer.

Albanian posters should say:

"It is very difficult to believe such cruel crime did happen. We hope it did not. However if it did, we want the perpetrators face the justice"

Serbian posters should say (mostly they did):

"Based on Thaçi's infamous background we believe, this could well happen. We want justice if it did happen".

Both are trivial - who objects either has something wrong with his head.

BBC have finally published their article. Better late then never.

Looks like we have a key policy change in KiM and the thugs are going down first, then the west. We have always told you KiM Albanians, once the rod is spent you'll be disposed of. Once upon a time Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein were useful rods but they became spent also. Thaci has ended up the same way. Next step is he'll probably bite the hand that feeds him and then he's a goner.

They were after all, the ones that made the KLA freedom fighters from terrorists. I am sure that DC will do all it can to suppress the allegations against Thaci, but how can they stop the truth? Sites like WikiLeaks will expose them, they know that. The upcoming talks between Pristina and Belgrade will be unbelievable. How in the world can delegates from Serbia sit at the same table with a man, or group, that has been implicated in tearing organs out of their brethren?

(Top, 14 December 2010 22:08)

Top, just about all of us want this. Blerim is no exception but rather the average voice among us Albanians. What we don't want is the usual Albanophobes here; you know the various Peggy's, Winston's, The Swiss' and Jovan's preaching morality and taking a high moral ground; not until they show the same concerns for the dead ones whose bodies are still in mass graves inside Serbia. Until then they're simply a bunch of Serb hypocrites.
Since day one the vast majority of us has been about getting an official international investigating team from official international bodies such as the UNGA or UN Security Council and investigate this thing and bring the truth to light once and forever; no Serb or Albanians included. What we can't obviously agree with is makeshift witch-hunts organized by the Serb prosecution and Dick Marty with no authorization from any international governing buddies. What we can't agree with is for the Serb prosecution and Dick Marty to have carte blanche in the country of Albania without any permission from international institutions. What we can't obviously agree with is to have Serbia through mud for political gains. If you want to know the truth about this you operate through official channels. That is through the UN. The reluctance of the state of Serbia to do that and go that way is very telling and quite honestly very disturbing for any human being out there. Here you have the state of Serbia claiming to have proof about these monstrous acts on its citizens ,yet it refuses to take any steps through official channels such as the UN. This is disturbing on many levels. Especially considering that cutting a phone line is immediately brought up by Serbia in the UN, but ultimate proof of organ trafficking on Serb citizens is not even mentioned by Serbia in the UN? This is very odd on many levels.

P.S Kate if what you say about Thaci turns out to be true; you better hope Kurti is not the next PM. Serbia will never make it into the EU for as long as a student political prisoner of Serbia is Kosova's PM. Kurti has no baggage and can actually govern on his own style and as he wishes. Just about anyone else in Serbia and Kosova do not have that commodity; being baggage free. At this moment this guy doesn't own anything to anyone.

The Albanians are so funny with their comments. 'Serb propaganda', 'Serb lies', 'Serbs making this up'...are you kidding me??? The Serbs for the last 20 years have been trying in vain to get the truth out there but are always shut out by the media. If the Serbs had that kind of spin control and power to convince other nations of 'lies', don't you think they would have done so for the past 20 years???

Independent investigation into allegations from someone with no affiliation to the region. I think we can take his word for it, as well as Carla Del Ponte who also had allegations about this organ traficking.

Oh how I hope the truth starts to open up and spill out. Hasim Thaci...terrorist, murderer, organ traficker, kidnapper, rapist, and somehow through it all the US with Clinton-Albright-Shea-Holbrooke, the UK, German, and France supported him and watch him get voted to Prime Minister? Years ago the Italian magazine Panorama published an article about then prime minister of Albania, Fatos Nano. The article portrayed the prime minister as “Il Padrino” of all the traffics that were going on between Albania and Italy during those years after the collapse of pyramidal schemes in Albania, the same way as the Swiss journalist portrays Hashim Thaci now. The rest of the story goes like this: Fatos Nano sued the magazine Panorama for false accusation and defamatory statements, and he won the case. Just a couple of years ago Panorama had to apologize to Nano and paid him 200 thousands of Euro for the damage .So, in the end Panorama made a fiasco, and Nano became richer.
Mark my words; “The same is going to happen with Hashim Thaci”. He’s going to sue them and win the case, and become richer. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t like this guy, but that’s the truth.

They will insure this investigation is silenced much as have all wrong doings by the US. Denis, I'm glad that you've surrounded yourself with warm and comforting thoughts. Notions that one bad is worse than another. Ideas that your truth is more correct than someone else's.
To be fair, Denis happens to be the one person that I'm picking out, but for any of the Serb, Albanian, Croat or Bosnian that feels comfortable perched up on their Ivory Towers shouting how bad someone else is/was; you're all the problem.
Populations are easily turned to sheep that will follow the prescribed paths laid forth by their charismatic leaders. This is easily seen as the case in any and all ethnically motivated violence. Those that defend their own extensions of such violence have not a shred of ethical and/or moral justification to stand on.
For those Serbs, Albanians, Croats and Bosnians that have the fortitude to fairly condemn those atrocious villains and their actions, I commend you and your willingness to stand by what you know to be fair and just, not just what you've been told to think is right.
With so much violence, saddness and misery that have been part of the Balkan experience over the past 2 decades, people there, all people there, need to pull themselves up and move forward. Dwelling on the past too much prevents one from living out their present and tarnishes any shine in their future. There is virtually no discussion of future, very little of present and primarily of past on this forum. We hear from all of the world's interested arm chair pundits (myself included) on a regular basis; we hear outrageous claims, horrible lies, despicable accusations, and words that bury the hatchet, not in the sand, but deeper into the hearts of people simply to promote one's own twisted sense of self and degrade others.
I wish not to simply isolate Denis, but his recent post happens to be the catalyst and thus the point of my frustration motivated post.
It is time for everyone to wake up from their daze, face the new day's sun and start moving forward. One doesn't need to live in the past to keep it in their memories, and one needs to understand that our memories remain with us and define us, but do not have to be the sole, or primary mechanism used to define who we are. We can become what we want to be, and not what we were made into at some point long ago. There is always time for everyone to grow up and realize that in the limited time we spend on this globe we should make the most of it, and living in your imagination (for that is all the past is now -- if it was real or not back then, it is what is in your head that you live through over and over again) is like being trapped in the Matrix. Sure the steaks taste better there, but this is not what Morpheus has been fighting for ;)

Probaly Rugova was the most peaceful leader Balkan has ever had in its long history of bloodshed, who by any means deserved nobel price for peace for preventing a war to happen during early 90s, Rugova even forced himself to meet with Milosevic by the time serbian paramilitaries were masacring albanians, although gossips said that serbian police was keeping his family as hostage, but still, the significance of Rugova actions stands up to nowadays. Only the fact that Rugova won elections right after the succesful war of NATO and UCK tells the fact that people still trusted his peaceful vision, even though liberation was achieved through war...Had Balkans had more politicans like Him, wars in Yugoslavia could have been avoided.

Well., you haven't seen nothing.

There's some stuff you can wash and some other stuff- you can't. The morbid way you treated our people will be the eternal scar for your nation. I think you do not understand, as the rest of you, the weight and consequences of this.

For the enemy you must have respect.

Many times I wished and said to my enemy; "God help you".. Here I really do not have any motivation to write that. You're not our enemy any more- you're something else, transparent.

Bravo! It really pleases me to see an (obvious) Albanian poster to condemn these alleged crimes and wanting the responisble persons to face justice. This gives hope for Kosovo, they have honourable people, too - though more than 33% (fraud or not) still nowadays voted for this criminal, Thaci...
(Top, 14 December 2010 22:08)

Luckily the situation is not that bad. About half of the people voted at maximum. Taken the election fraud in the account - that is about 25-30% at best. So ultimately maybe one K-Albanian out of six or even seven did vote for him. Corresponds with my personal experience in last few years - which was much more positive than negative.

I am not very surprised at what Blerimi wrote because naturally most people in a healthy society want to get rid of sick and dangerous elements. Thanks to him to admit it. Every Albanian I met so far would say the same in private. But many are over-protective and may say different things in public. An other reason could be a strong pear-pressure and intimidation. So the usual "trollings" we see here have to be regarded with a lot of doubt as being really genuine or sincere. And other very different group are the people who live abroad.

You know the old saying:

Zaklela se zemlja raju da se tajne sve odaju.
(Peggy, 14 December 2010 21:02)

No I have no clue of the old saying, but in any case, whatever is the outcome of these allegations, nothing will ever release or justify your kind from the charges of premeditated and well orchestrated crimes you commited in the Balkans, which represent the lion's share of brutal murders in the regional conflicts.

First the KLA victims as % compared to Serbian victims, by far were Serbs in uniform, police, soldiers, official of repressive Serbian regime etc. The KLA might have commited crimes, I am sure they have considering many took revenge for what Serbs did to their families not only in 1999, but these crimes do not and will never compare in nature, force, brutality and intend to the Serbian ones.
No crimes commited by the KLA make your crimes just and honest.

The crimes commited by Serbs were not simply the actions of a irregular, badly organized and not disiplined amatuer guerilla force, but they represented the will of the people - the state, the Government, which had signed many treates of war conduct in a civilized world.

The KLA crimes, if such, are the crimes of a few individuals in a volunteer, unprofessional fighting force, with a very weak chain of command, not the actions of the people's army, representing a nation.

You tried to do the same thing in Croatia and Bosnia. But we all know that crimes commited against the Serb population even though existent, are in no way equal to Serbian initiative to start these brutal precedent and hold it as a means to success.

The reaction of Croats, Bosnians and K-Alb were a mere reaction to the Serbian brutality in the region.

K-Alb tried 10 yrs peacefully with you, but Rugova was brutally ignored and discrimination continued. The KLA was nothing but a creation of your barbaric policies towards K-Alb, who as I said tolerated you more than any other nation in the region, Slovenians, Croats and Bosnians didn't but they picked up arms immediately cause they knew better.

''Ilii when are you going to stop blaming the Serbs for their horrible treatment?
Can you not read or can you not comprehend what you read?
It is clear that Serbia mafia had nothing to do with this, and comparing arms trafficking to this is clutching to straws you know. ''

I m not blaming the serbs ! I m blamig the serb aparatus, the serb gov or the serb state policies of 90s, you can not just unleash war and not face fatal consequences...back then, both albanians and serbs were yugoslav citizens, in a neutral point of view, keeping aside my feelings i can say that yugoslav state failed to solve a conflict between two ethnicies and what is worse, took sides in the conflict, the yugoslav state chose to ''protect'' serbs from ''albanian agreessors'' ...if ''glorious JNA '' failed to protect its own soldiers from getting slaughtered don't blame Thaci...blame formerly yugoslav(serb) policies...it is well documented and well known fact that organised crime flourished during milosevic regime, arkan and his paramilitaries were well known maphiosi for interpol...milosevic family were the godfathers of serbian zemun clan, i m sure that if mladic is caught, we would discover more facts about ''organ traffic'' in balkans in general...i think mladic fears more the zemun clan than the hague tribunal and he is probaly hiding in order not face the same fate as arkan...all i m saying is that organised crime knowns no limits...and i doubt Thaci did all the war to harvest 300 kidneys...UCK was a nationalist militia, UCK had a greater purpose than 300 kidneys, to achieve a United Albania, and the funding for the cause came from diaspora,no matter how dearly 300 kidneys might sell in the black market, in amounts of money, it is nothing compared to the money collected from the Albanians around the world...not to mention that the guns were being provided for free from mother Albania...

''It is clear that Serbia mafia had nothing to do with this,''

How can you be sure? Are you implying that Serbian maphiosi are good but Albanian maphiosi are bad? Maphia knows no ethical and moral limits wether it is serbian or albanian...it is well known fact that balkan criminal networks cooperate with each other far more succesfully than our politicans do...if there is some kind of organised crime happeningin balkans and europe, you can be sure that criminals of all kind of ethnicies are involved...

''It is clear that Serbia mafia had nothing to do with this, and comparing arms trafficking to this is clutching to straws you know. ''

In wars soldiers lose their lives, the way they lose is tragic of course, and of course murdering war prisoners is a war crime, but personally i consider illegal trafic of guns as a worse crime, because, illegally distributed guns most commonly fall into criminals and terrorist hands, i mean, illegally selling guns to yemen? You have no idea how women , children and innocent men are treated in yemen...i m sure balkan has seen worse tragedies in kosovo and bosnia, but the actual yemen situation is worse than iraq, although at a more isolated scale...

It is pretty funny how Serbian prosecuter traveled to Tirana, requesting our prosecuter to investigate about the ''yellow house'' ....the same prosecuter who fails to find mladic, arrogance to the maximum ! That is probaly the most unprecedented case in international relationships...probaly Serb prosecuters thought of Albania the same way they used to deal with former Yugoslav republics... of course, our prosecuter did not even go to a meeting with such an arrogant and even refused to comment on such event, and so, the serb prosecuter had to take off only a couple of hours later...

If i were the Albania foreign minister would have reacted very strongly on such lies, i would sue every single newspaper on the issue, but judging fromm the fact that our actual foreign minister is a serb lover, there is not much i could expect..personally i couldn't care less wether UCK and Thaci were involved in slaughtering serbs in a kosher way or not, what Thaci did in former yugoslvia is not Rep of Albanian responsibility, but such crimes, could never happen inside 1999 Albanian borders, the whole world witnessed the way we dealt with crisis, it was Albanian Gov merits that prevented a humanitariean catastrophe and prevented the war to spread in other regions such as Montenegro and Fyrom, also thousands of international organistations, observers and media, and thousands of foreign troops and police were present in Albania at that perioud, about 800 hundreds helicopters were patroling Albania throughtly every day and night...even greek troops and police were deployed back then in Albania... i doubt ''orthodox greek brothers'' would have allowed facts about ''yellow box ware house'' to just dissapear...

Chinese prisoners who were executed received their death penalties in court, much like they do in the US.

I’d like to deeply thank Mr. Marty for revealing this information into the public and congratulate him on bravery,
honesty and non-biased approach to this very important issue. Once again we have honest Swiss who stays by the Serbian victims as Mr. Archibald Rice (a Swiss) did during WWI when reporting about the crimes committed against the Serbs by Austro-Hungarians. Mr Dick Marty is as brave as his late countryman if not even braver since nowadays we live in pretty much immoral and hypocritical world (or at least good part of the world) which the latest incident with the arrest of Mr Assange (the Wikileaks founder) proves.
The truth is nowadays undesirable since the world’s top leaders seem to be involved in heinous crimes against humanity.

Once again, thank you Mr. Marty and I truly hope nothing will suddenly happen to you or get falsely accused for some alleged rape or who knows what. Please, just continue with your truth and hopefully you will succeed in unmasking the role of the certain high ranking European and the USA’a politicians in inhuman crimes committed in Kosovo, all in the name of struggle for peace by such “peace loving and freedom fighter people” such as Thachi and Co. Perhaps Nobel Peace prise Committee could nominate Thachi for this “prestigious” award as the “oppressed” truth lover and freedom fighter of the Balkan.

I’d like to add that reading the comments written by the Albanian posters can only make one very sad.
It only proves that long road is ahead of them before they fall into classification of civilised, honest, and
modest human beings. Albanians still didn’t figured it out that their beloved Thchi is nothing else but the murderer, drug and human trafficker and one of the most unscrupulous and brutal criminals.
Albanians should be aware hat Mr.Marty wouldn’t come out into the public with this complete report and would certainly not schedule for discussion on the report with the CoE. I am sure he has all the evidences needed to support his serious claims.

And who knows, maybe some better times are ahead of us. Let’s hope so.
I hope the truth of the yellow House will finally find its way out and final punishment of the all the beasts involved will serve as a small justice for the victims.

May victims rest in peace.

How would someone react if their home would be burned to ground, if their wife would be raped, am sure that most people would have had at least a break down and at worst ask for revenge. I know that there were crimes committed from Albanians and am Albanian myself, but to compare those crimes with 10 thousands killed innocent Albanians and thousands of mass murders and missing persons is not comparable. At the end, not least but last, if Thaci found guilty he should be sentenced to prison. I don’t care what, but criminals should be nowhere else other then jails. Kinda odd, but then it's just an opinion, no facts, at least when it comes to 'organ trading.' That Thaci and other leaders are corrupt, we knew it already. FYI: Serbia is leading the EC this month.

From the Guardian:
-------
It says: "In confidential reports spanning more than a decade, agencies dedicated to combating drug smuggling in at least five countries have named Hashim Thaçi and other members of his Drenica Group as having exerted violent control over the trade in heroin and other narcotics."

Marty adds: "Thaçi and these other Drenica Group members are consistently named as "key players" in intelligence reports on Kosovo's mafia-like structures of organised crime. I have examined these diverse, voluminous reports with consternation and a sense of moral outrage."
------- end Guardian quote-----

You go Marty. Next tell us about car smuggling, printing of fake Euros, extortion etc in Russia, North Korea, Italy etc etc.

It concludes: "The signs of collusion between the criminal class and the highest political and institutional office holders are too numerous and too serious to be ignored.

"It is a fundamental right of Kosovo's citizens to know the truth, the whole truth, and also an indispensable condition for reconciliation between the communities and the country's prosperous future."

Dick Marty in 2008 via Google Translate: http://www.voltairenet.org/article155903.html
"But we are told: "Kosovo is different, he was the victim of abuse on the part of Serbia." I realize that Kosovo is administered by ten years the international community and that after ten years, Kosovo's economy is nonexistent, it became a center of organized crime, drug trafficking, arms trafficking , trafficking in human beings. I note that there is no genuine civil society that is able to run a truly democratic institution, and there are various minorities who live protected by international soldiers.

During those years when Kosovo was under international protectorate, monasteries and Orthodox churches were burned in the total indifference of the international media. Since 1999, 250,000 Serbs have fled Kosovo."

From all the outrage being expressed here, you'd think nobody ever heard of what happens to the organs of executed Chinese prisoners.
(Amer, 14 December 2010 18:33)

1) It's not an excuse, as bad as it is.

2) The Chinese justice system is as it is - and it never was mild. As bad as it is, the executed Chinese prisoners were executed in DUE PROCESS. That can't be said about the involved victims here. For start: there was never a court verdict, not even a kangaroo. Not even a (para)military tribunal, Arkan-tiger-style. Just plain butchery.

3) The famous 2nd Amendment of the Constitution is not a random thing. The "unusual and cruel punishment" mentioned there was/is not a theoretic thing, it was very much practical at that time.

As you know, there was a "very special" treatment according the legend invented by Edward I. "Longshanks" (surprise for me: turns out his daddy used it too, I did not know it):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanged,_drawn_and_quartered

So Chinese had a pretty good competition in England - if it was about cruelty.

4) Just a side-note... Find a single mention of death penalty in "Русская Правда" law codex. And AFAIK, the judges/jurrors delivering the death penalty in ancient Iudea were obligated to execute it single-handed. That de-facto made it abolished, they rather sent the condemned to slavery (same as Russians did).

Just thinking loudly about "progress" over centuries, you know. :-/

I am certainly pro Serb but as any rational individual, we must await full reporting. There is clearly news from the Council of Europe as a couple of posters posted links to their media. This is the first positive step to bringing light to what appears to be a crime of unspeakable proportions. All I can say is holy SHIx! Why would people be so horrible to subject other human beings to organ trading? Is money really that important? Money can bring things but it can never bring true happiness. Why do you think there are so many Americans on antidepressants if money is so important?
Good Job Dick Marty!!! Nevertheless, we must be patient and wait for more confirmation before we really get angry.

In 1999, Thaçi was identified as the most dangerous of the KLA's "criminal bosses" by intelligence reports, according to Marty.

Thaçi's KLA group is also said to be the main organisation responsible for smuggling prisoners across the porous border. They were held in a network of six detention facilities, converted from warehouses, farm buildings and a disused factory.

The report, , which states that it is not a criminal investigation and is unable to pronounce judgments of guilt or innocence, focuses on a key figure said to have played a central role in the organ operation. A KLA medical commander based in Albania, Shaip Muja was and remains a close confidante of Thaçi's. Muja is currently a political adviser in the office of the prime minister, with responsibility for health.

"We have uncovered numerous convergent indications of Muja's central role [in] international networks, comprising human traffickers, brokers of illicit surgical procedures, and other perpetrators of organised crime," the report states.

So much for the abject 'hero' snake....

On December 16 Dick Marty will present his findings, then the report will be made available as soon as possible. this according to the council of europe web site. I hope it contains something more substantial than what we've seen so far, which are only rumors. One way or another this ugly story must be put to rest. The fact that Thaci and the KLA have been implicated in these atrocities is no surprise. (I mean, was not the KLA on the US State Dept list of terrorist organiations?) The surprise is that this has gone public. The timing of the release of Marty's findings is most interesting to me. Could it be that the release of the report, right after the fraudulent Pristina-run election (that will no-doubt cause internal gridlock) is designed to weaken the hand of the K-Albs. I wonder if the West and Serbia have not already agreed a deal on Kosovo (one that may not be pleasing to K-Alb ears), and the West has picked now as the time to bring the K-Albs to heel. How long has the West been holding on to the Marty report - waiting to unleash it at the right time? Interesting times ahead. This report puts EULEX in an awkward position, doesn't it? Are they now obligated to investigate and arrest Thaci?

This should not surprise anyone.

The possibility that this is true is not so far fetched.

Procuring human organs in Albania for European trafficking is a well know fact.

Albania is often identified as a source country for organ trafficking by various international organizations.

According the American Medical Association, Albania is one of the countries identified as destination for the so-called “transplant tourism.”

The Organs Watch, a research and documentation center states that, "In the Middle East residents of the Gulf States (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Oman) have for many years traveled to India, the Philippines, and to Eastern Europe to purchase kidneys made scarce locally due to local fundamentalist Islamic teachings that allow organ transplantation (to save a life), but prohibit organ harvesting from brain-dead bodies.

As disgusting as this topic is,there is a lot of money to be made in organ trafficking.

Instead of denying it, you need to educate yourselves about it and then speak out against it.

You know we can all read; don't you? You also know that as educated adults we can all make conclusions on the report.

Then after this report is published how about some actual investigation rather than the usual hearsay. And by actual investigation I mean shutting up the Serb mouthpiece and let international investigators do their job; no Serbs or Albanians involved.

Then the cheerful Serbs on this site might also want to express the same cheerful attitude and return us the remaining bodies from the Batjanica mass-grave site; rather than keeping quiet about it and act as some moral queens in this site.

Both Kosovo and Albania have opened the doors before for international investigators and no one has found any evidence, just allegations.

Council of Europe inquiry report on organised crime., as I was reading yesterday clearly confirms that Hashim Thaçi is a head of Albanian mafia group responsible for smuggling weapons, drugs and human organs.. The report should be adopted by Parliamentary Committee in January 2011. There's number of witnesses including some members of Drenica group.

There's no cloud if it's clearly known where, how and most important- who. There is a direct link of Fushe Kruje/Yellow house and Medicus case. Some parts of the report are restricted at the moment while another available to public.

Fushe Kruje;

"As and when the transplant surgeons were confirmed to be in position and ready to operate, the captives were brought out of the 'safe house' individually, summarily executed by a KLA gunman, and their corpses transported swiftly to the operating clinic."

Of course., the surgeon felt a bit more "clean" if he was not involved in this cold blood execution.. What's coming from the hidden part of report?

I think we should patiently wait for debate to take place while our Army should moderately but carefully enforce it's presence in the area and start psychological pressure. Also I think that we should reconsider and radically change known priorities in accordance to those developments. We're not so old for a final cut.

So I read the Guardian report and here's what I saw: Serbs said that Albanians did....and ten years later donors from Turkey, Moldova etc gave kidneys so what the Serbs said about people being killed for organs must be true. Marty has no case, nor proof, just uses the Medicus case to validate Serb accusations, while saying he can't decide about guilt.

By the way, the Medicus story is different: it alleges that Dervishi met the transplant doctor after asking about one at a med conference in Turkey. Makes no sense that Thaci would get involved in this when they are billions of euros in tenders.

He was contacted by Yusuf Sonmez, a Turkish national and surgeon who has a history of involvement with illegal organ harvesting."

Are you comparing the two?
Chinese prisoners who were executed received their death penalties in court, much like they do in the US.
These people were not abducted and kept alive for the purpose of organ harvesting.
They were dead before the organs were removed which is not certain that these poor innocent Serbs were.
Yes, taking organs without permission is not good but what you beloved Thaci did cannot compare to anything Chinese authorities have done.

Ilii when are you going to stop blaming the Serbs for their horrible treatment?
Can you not read or can you not comprehend what you read?
It is clear that Serbia mafia had nothing to do with this, and comparing arms trafficking to this is clutching to straws you know.

NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS. Don't you get it?

I was thinking the same thing. We know that nothing like this would be published with the blessing of the grand empire (except maybe wikileaks).

I noticed that Willie Walker was supporting Kurti in the elections. Could it be that the 'West' needs Thaci out of the way and the election fraud and this story will do the trick? Plus paint the smeared internationals as actually caring.

Or maybe as you say, there is a done deal with Serbia and this is stage one in its implementation.

Interesting events, but whatever the reason I hope that these devils who would do such things are exposed and the whole black and white portrayal of what happened in Kosovo is finally revealed loudly. Loud enough not to be ignored.

If the Serbs had that kind of spin control and power to convince other nations of 'lies', don't you think they would have done so for the past 20 years???

Regards to all posters here; I am glad that there is such interest on B92 from all over the world. Suggested atrocities are of such cruel nature, that a full scale investigation is warranted. Anyone who can do this, regardless of ethnicity or anything else, deserve to be put on trial and sentenced.

MMS

Top

Now some people here deny even the evidence from this CoE report. And of course, Kosovo albanian authorites won't help to shed light on these crimes. No wonder, when the highest state officials are former KLA fighters.

I realize that Kosovo is administered by ten years the international community and that after ten years, Kosovo's economy is nonexistent, it became a center of organized crime, drug trafficking, arms trafficking , trafficking in human beings.

So Chinese had a pretty good competition in England - if it was about cruelty.

4) Just a side-note... Find a single mention of death penalty in "Русская Правда" law codex. And AFAIK, the judges/jurrors delivering the death penalty in ancient Iudea were obligated to execute it single-handed. That de-facto made it abolished, they rather sent the condemned to slavery (same as Russians did).

Thank you

The animal Thaci will never see a day in prison nor otherwise held accountable for his many crimes. Why? Because his US and EU masters are complicit in his crimes! They will insure this investigation is silenced much as have all wrong doings by the US. Tadic will kneel to his EU masters and make peace with this monster and Kosovo will become Serbia's new 'best friend.' May the ghosts of murdered Serbs haunt all those who forget that Albanians were the cause of so many of Serbia's problems.

Let's look it this way, had Serbia not waged war against Kosovo, killings of innocent serbs and albanians would never hapened...even if some kind of albanian maphia org did organ traffic, it is more likely that it was done in collaboration with serbian powerful elements in organized crime, during the war, KlA never controled areas populated by serbs, and the border was only broken in april 1999 so if it was the case of 300 serb victims, most probaly serbian maphia had a role , we know there was no balkan maphia more powerful than serbian maphia during 90s... maphia business knows no ethnical boundaries...for instance, wikileaks revealed recently facts how serbian gun traffic towards yemen was done through Albania, even though both Albania and Serbia legally speaking ,have no military treaties of such kind...

Yes, the discussion of what? - of reports, ideas, maybes? K-Alb has never denied anyone an investigation. Up to now there has been no facts, no witnesses, no evidence of any of these acusations.

Both Kosovo and Albania have opened the doors before for international investigators and no one has found any evidence, just allegations.

At the conference he let it be known that he was looking for someone who could perform organ transplants. He was contacted by Yusuf Sonmez, a Turkish national and surgeon who has a history of involvement with illegal organ harvesting."

Ironic the way Serbian state ignored Rugova [RIP] and now blame UCK and Thaci. Had Belgrade compromised with Rugova, UCK would never had emerged.

First, the report is for the CoE and not the EU. Second, even if it were for the EU, the EU is not a criminal court. This should be sent to the ICTY, Kosovo and Albania prosecutors for criminal investigation if there is sufficient evidence.

The report makes for great, sensational headlines, but there seems to be a lot of inference involved, especially about the relation between what happened or may have happened in 1999 and the recent organ sales. Maybe Marti has evidence, but we haven't seen it yet.

Denis

Yes, the discussion of what? - of reports, ideas, maybes? K-Alb has never denied anyone an investigation. Up to now there has been no facts, no witnesses, no evidence of any of these acusations.

Holy macaroni !!! This is BIG !! Its the same caliber on those news as when Kennedy or Luther King was assassinated. My God !!! The K Albanians have really done it now. I can not help feel sorry for them. They have believed so strong that Kosovo one day would become a country. Now that is settled for good. The only thing that is missing now (and I now that four people have the proof on camera, but cannot still release it) is the proof that Racak was staged and then we will see what Europe think about Kosovo.

Finally, Dick Marty finished writing it and it is out. Let's see what it says. For those who are asking for the actual report, you must wait a few days. On December 16 Dick Marty will present his findings, then the report will be made available as soon as possible. this according to the council of europe web site. I hope it contains something more substantial than what we've seen so far, which are only rumors. One way or another this ugly story must be put to rest. Either the names of the Serbian victims and perpetrators are given, and criminals prosecuted, or the rumors are revealed as unfounded once and for all.

A Despicable acts by despicable people. This sub-human behavior by the KLA "freedom fighters", and the western authorities that looked the other way, Kouchner, will hopefully bring light to what was going on in Kosovo. Milosevic is starting to look like he was correct in his actions.

Ironic the way Serbian state ignored Rugova [RIP] and now blame UCK and Thaci. Had Belgrade compromised with Rugova, UCK would never had emerged.

The Serbs for the last 20 years have been trying in vain to get the truth out there but are always shut out by the media. If the Serbs had that kind of spin control and power to convince other nations of 'lies', don't you think they would have done so for the past 20 years???

ZMAJ

Council of Europe inquiry report on organised crime., as I was reading yesterday clearly confirms that Hashim Thaçi is a head of Albanian mafia group responsible for smuggling weapons, drugs and human organs.. The report should be adopted by Parliamentary Committee in January 2011. There's number of witnesses including some members of Drenica group.

There's no cloud if it's clearly known where, how and most important- who. There is a direct link of Fushe Kruje/Yellow house and Medicus case. Some parts of the report are restricted at the moment while another available to public.

Fushe Kruje;

From all the outrage being expressed here, you'd think nobody ever heard of what happens to the organs of executed Chinese prisoners.
(Amer, 14 December 2010 18:33)
========================

Hmmmmmm

hehehehe, B92, read this:

The secret report, obtained by the BBC in Strasbourg"

Just searched BBC and Google and nothing new there, just old regurgitated old stuff. Was the BBC from UK or...?
(Hmmmmmm, 14 December 2010 16:10)

Nothing on BBC mate, but here is some news about report without actual content of report:

Is it very difficult for Kosovo Albanians to admit that some of their compatriots have committed such a horrible crimes?

All crimes should be investigated regardless who committed them. Truth for all victims regardless of nationality, race and religion.

Maybe they gave it open now because there are some notices of those criminal organisations in the wikileaks files.

"You Serbs never stop with propaganda, WHY.
How much did you pay to BBC ?"

1. You did not provide proof that the Yankees bribed BBC;

2. You did not provide proof that the Yankees are up to their necks in debt
